Dallas Nanny Job

Job # 98805
Calm And Collaborative Nanny Needed For A Cuddly Newborn In Dallas, TX (Audelia Rd & E NW Hwy)

This job has been closed.

Nanny

Message from Family: Mom is a registered dietitian who works virtually from home and, after maternity leave, will be working Monday-Wednesday from 9 am - 5 pm. While she will have scheduled client sessions during those hours, there may be breaks throughout the day where she would love the opportunity to spend time with her daughter. Dad is a portfolio manager at a hedge fund and primarily works from the office, though he may occasionally work from home as well.

The family also has a very energetic Mini Australian Shepherd who is friendly and loving, but does have a loud bark. A housekeeper comes to the home every other Thursday for deep cleaning. As a family, they enjoy traveling, going on walks together, and having cozy movie nights at home.

About the Child: Our daughter was born in mid-April and is 3 weeks old. So far, she's a pretty chill baby. She's starting to get used to tummy time and loves being held!

Their Ideal Nanny: A proactive and confident caregiver who can support infant routines, including feeding, sleep routines, and developmentally appropriate activities such as reading, talking, and interactive play. Prior infant experience is required, and a background in early childhood education or related coursework is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who is calm, patient, nurturing, safety-focused, and respectful of the family's parenting preferences, while also bringing thoughtful insight and experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mature, professional, and reliable. Our family values experience, professionalism, and maturity, and we hope to find someone who will become a trusted extension of the family while providing loving, consistent care for our baby. We would also love someone with a relaxed, go-with-the-flow personality who is collaborative, open to parent input, and focused on emotional development.

Duties | Expectations: Due to severe allergies, no foods containing tree nuts, peanuts, or sesame may be brought into the home. Monday through Wednesday will primarily focus on nanny duties with the baby while Mom is working. If Mom does not have clients during feeding times, she would prefer to breastfeed the baby rather than bottle-feed.

Thursdays will be a mix of nanny duties and mother's helper support, depending on Mom's schedule and appointments. If Mom is home and present with the baby throughout the day, the family may occasionally request help with errands such as grocery pickup.

Light housekeeping duties are limited to child-related tasks only, including tidying the playroom and nursery/bedroom, and cleaning up after the baby's meals once she begins solid foods
