Denver Nanny Job

Job # 95209
Experienced And Engaging Nanny Needed For A Family In Denver, CO (E Florida Ave & S Colorado Blvd)

This job has been closed.

Nanny

Message from Family: Dad works from home. He usually works from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with occasional afternoon hours. Mom is an ICU nurse and works 2-3, 12-hour weekday shifts per month. We have one Goldendoodle (7) and one Poodle (3). We also have a second home in Montana and usually spend one month there in the winter and two to three months there during the summer.

About the Children: Our oldest is a 4-year-old energetic and smart little girl. She loves being a big sister, going to school, doing gymnastics, and taking swimming classes. She LOVES reading books and can be read to for hours. We are working on some reading skills with her during her summer break. She has a very active imagination and loves her Frozen dolls, doing hair, and getting dressed up. She often changes her outfit multiple times a day. Sometimes she's bossy with her younger brother, but has been more inclusive with him and in their play.

Our youngest is a bright, happy, and active 2-year-old boy. He ADORES his sister and will do almost anything she asks. He loves to bike with his sister, ride his scooter, and do gymnastics. He also loves to be read to every day. He loves running around, being outside, and playing with all of his Cars stuff. He loves to joke and be funny and is very much a joy to be around, but is certainly testing boundaries currently, and if you're not paying complete attention to him, he will try to get your attention by doing something naughty. He loves everything Lightning McQueen and will keep you on your toes!

Their Ideal Nanny: If the nanny is bilingual in Spanish, that would be a plus. We want someone who fits in with our family and has many years of experience. We would love someone who values education and engagement, with outdoor time with the kids. We'd like the option of the nanny coming along on some ski weekends, weekends away, or even coming to Montana if it works out.

Starting in September, both kids will be in half-day school from 8:20–11:30. Most mornings, Mom is home to take them. On some workdays, the nanny will need to handle school drop-off and pick-up.

We'd love someone active, in shape, and can keep up with the kids while also keeping the main living area and kitchen clean. We'd love someone warm and excited to be here.

Additional Job Details: Our current nanny does the kids' laundry every week. She cooks two large-format meals per week targeted toward the kids (like chili or a pasta dish) with healthy ingredients, and takes the kids to swimming, school, or gymnastics some days of the week.

Our current nanny also tidies the kitchen every day before she leaves and keeps the toys organized, with an occasional vacuum if the kids are sleeping and she has downtime.

Travel: We have an annual trip to Mexico in October, which we've taken help with the last 2 years. Some ski trips to Local mountains, sometimes staying at our house once we are all comfortable with each other. Eventually, testing the Montana trips, which are longer in duration. The nanny will have her own room and bathroom on all the trips, but especially in Montana.
