Message from Family: Mom is an anesthesiologist, and Dad is a chemical engineer. Mom typically works from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while Dad works from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Hours may vary, but we work closely with our nanny to keep the schedule fair and balanced. Our housekeeper comes on Tuesdays. We value open communication and strive to create a positive, respectful, and supportive working environment.
About the Children: Our oldest is a 5-year-old girl who is intelligent, loving, and enjoys being outside. She loves reading, playing games, and engaging in pretend play. She is “sugar and spice” and will bring joy to your day. She attends preschool Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Our youngest is a 2-year-old boy who loves reading, playing outside, and snuggling. He is a sweet child who can be a bit apprehensive in new situations at first, but once he warms up, he is curious, affectionate, and loves to learn. He attends preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Their Ideal Nanny: The family is looking for a loving, energetic, and experienced nanny with a strong focus on safety and engaging, screen-free care.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on activities, outdoor play, walks, and sports, and naturally incorporates fun, age-appropriate learning into daily routines (a background in education or child development is preferred).
The nanny should be patient and confident in managing strong-willed children, using a positive yet firm approach. They will be able to balance structure with creativity through art projects and at-home learning activities.
Comfort supervising children in a pool is a plus.
Additional Job Details: A safe, reliable vehicle and a clean driving record are required. The candidate must be a non-smoker, including no vaping or tobacco use of any kind.
