About the Family: This first-time family is excited to find a wonderful nanny to support them as they navigate life with their sweet 3-month-old baby boy! Mom works remotely from home and loves having the opportunity to spend time with the baby throughout the day. They are looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside a work-from-home parent and can naturally shift into light household support when Mom has one-on-one time with him.
Their home is clean, relaxed, and casual, and they are hoping to find someone who can truly become an extension of their household. They value open communication and would love a nanny who can respect the routines and preferences they are establishing while also bringing helpful ideas and infant experience as their baby grows.
The family lives just steps from a park, making stroller walks, fresh air, and time outside an easy part of the baby's routine as he grows.
About the Child: The family has a sweet 3-month-old baby boy and this is their first child. The family is continuing to establish routines and would love a nanny who can follow their preferences while also bringing valuable infant experience and helpful ideas as he grows.
Their Ideal Nanny: The ideal nanny is calm, kind, clean, gentle, patient, and an excellent communicator. The family would love someone with strong infant experience who understands that caring for a young baby can include plenty of quiet time, contact naps, and following the baby's cues rather than feeling the need to constantly be on the go.
Someone who brings a natural, nurturing “mom-like” presence would be especially appealing. The family is looking for someone who will respect the routines and parenting preferences they are establishing while also feeling comfortable sharing their professional experience and introducing helpful ideas as their baby boy grows. Experience raising their own children is desired, but absolutely not required.
Since Mom works from home, the ability to read the room and comfortably shift gears will be important in this role. During times when Mom is spending time with baby boy, the nanny can assist with light household responsibilities such as baby laundry, light tidying, bringing in groceries, running occasional errands, and simple meal prep (meal prep is not required, but would be amazing). Someone who is clean, organized, professional, flexible, and genuinely enjoys supporting both babies and their parents would be a wonderful fit.
