Nanny

Message from Family: We will be relocating to Dallas this summer and are excited for this next chapter for our family! We are currently a family of four and hope to continue growing our family in the near future. Dad's career requires frequent travel and long hours, so while he may occasionally work from home, he is not always home during the day. Mom works from home, but typically in and out of the house, running around.

About the Children: Our oldest daughter is 4 years old and the sweetest big sister. She loves being a nurturing role model and enjoys dance, gymnastics, swimming, skating, and arts and crafts. She is currently in a 3K program, loves school, and is very social and excited to make new friends.

Our youngest is 2 years old and full of energy, curiosity, and personality! She is adventurous, fearless, and always eager to explore and learn new things. She especially loves music, dancing, and staying active.

Both children will be in pre-school.

Their Ideal Nanny: This family is looking for a nurturing, kind, patient, warm, and emotionally intelligent nanny who creates a calm and loving environment where the children feel safe, supported, and confident. They would love someone who is naturally proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to help keep the household running smoothly without needing constant direction. A Type-A personality with strong communication skills and the ability to confidently manage schedules, routines, school needs, activities, and overall household flow would be a wonderful fit.

The ideal candidate respects the family's parenting approach, is dependable, punctual, consistent, and remains calm and positive during busy or high-demand moments. They are looking for someone comfortable assisting with children's laundry, tidying and organizing children's spaces, and providing light household support as needed.

Most importantly, the family hopes to find someone who truly loves working with children, values building a genuine long-term relationship, and wants to become an extension of the home. They are seeking a professional career nanny who takes pride in their work and is excited to grow with the family over time. Driving is required, as the nanny will help transport the girls to school and activities. Flexibility is also very important, as schedules may occasionally shift due to travel or busier seasons for the family.

Start Date: 07/27/2026 (start date is not flexible due to family moving)

Expected Job Duration: Long-term

Duties:
Grocery shopping
Light housekeeping
Children's laundry
Cooking for children and family
* The primary focus will be on preparing lunches and meal prepping for the girls. If the nanny is already making a family-style meal for the children, such as lasagna, the family would appreciate preparing enough for everyone to enjoy as well. However, the family is not expecting separate meals to be cooked specifically for the parents.

Travel: Travel would be ideal, but it is not a requirement for this position. Travel support would only be needed occasionally, such as for a family wedding, vacation, or special event. The family would never expect the nanny to be away from their own obligations for extended periods and would typically keep trips to 5–7 days. They are very understanding, accommodating, and committed to finding a balance that feels comfortable for everyone.

Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm or 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Tuesday, Thursday 7:30 am- 6:30 pm or 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
* Guaranteed 40 hours a week
* Occasional evenings, vacations, and overnights
* Flexibility with hours will be needed based on the family's schedule and work needs. Any schedule adjustments will always be discussed and agreed upon by both the family and the nanny in advance. For example, there may be days when the nanny is asked to start later in the morning or stay later in the evening, depending on the family's needs.

Compensation: $30-$35 per hour, DOE

Benefits:
Paid Vacation
Sick Pay
Bonus
Paid Holidays
Health Insurance Stipend

Driving Requirement: The nanny must feel comfortable transporting the girls to and from school, activities, and outings as needed. If a vehicle is required during working hours, the family is happy to provide one or reimburse the nanny for gas mileage if the nanny drives their own car. A clean driving record is required.
