Message from Family: We recently welcomed our newborn son via surrogacy and are looking for an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to join our family as soon as possible. We split our time between East Hampton, New York, and Miami, Florida, and are currently in East Hampton through approximately October. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional newborn care, help establish healthy sleep habits, and become a trusted part of our household. We also have a second baby arriving via surrogacy in early October, so we are hoping to find a solution that can support our growing family and provide consistent coverage as we transition to caring for two newborns.

About the Baby: Our son was born via surrogacy 3 days ago. He is a healthy newborn with no known medical conditions or allergies. We are also expecting another baby via surrogacy in early October. With two newborns so close in age, our goal is to establish safe, consistent routines from the beginning and have experienced support as our family's needs evolve.

Our Ideal NCS: We are looking for a experienced NCS who can join our family. Safe sleep practices are extremely important to us, including following the ABCs of safe sleep and other appropriate newborn safety guidelines. Our ideal candidate will be confident providing hands-on newborn care and knowledgeable about establishing healthy sleep habits and implementing appropriate sleep conditioning. We would love someone who can provide guidance while remaining adaptable as our family transitions from one newborn to two.

Accommodations: The family can provide a private bedroom and bathroom for the NCS. During overnight shifts, the NCS may sleep either in the nursery bedroom or in a separate bedroom.

Additional Job Details: The family is currently in East Hampton, New York, and expects to remain there until approximately October before transitioning back to Miami, Florida. They are seeking an NCS who is comfortable traveling between both locations and are open to candidates from out of state. The family has two Bernedoodles and also employs a housekeeper who is available to assist with the babies from approximately 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day so the NCS can receive a solid rest period. Those hours can be flexible based on the NCS's needs. The family ultimately needs full coverage seven days per week outside of those hours and is open to structuring the position with the right NCS or NCS team to provide the level of coverage needed. With a second newborn arriving in early October, the ability to support two newborns will be especially important.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 25 weeks with the ability to extend if needed

Duties: Providing comprehensive newborn care, supporting safe sleep practices, establishing age appropriate routines and healthy sleep habits, implementing developmentally appropriate sleep training when appropriate, monitoring the baby's needs and development, and helping the family transition to caring for two newborns following the arrival of their second baby in early October.

Schedule: The family is seeking seven day per week coverage and ultimately needs 24/7 newborn care. Their housekeeper can assist with the babies daily from approximately 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Times can be flexible depending on when the NCS needs rest.

Structure: The family is open to splitting between 2 NCS if needed. They would prefer a team that has worked together and familiar with each other's styles to keep consistency for the babies and family.

Compensation: $40 per hour
