Message from Mom: Mom works in the IT field and works primarily from the home office Mon-Fri. She has to travel occasionally for work, so we are looking for a nanny who can be flexible as needed to cover those days. Dad is a physician. He works at a hospital in downtown Dallas. His schedule is generally working 7 on / 7 off. We are very hands-on with the kids and are actively engaged in all aspects of their development. We come from a close-knit extended family with grandparents living close by. The boys also have cousins their age which whom they are very close to. We are looking for someone that will become an additional family member. All of our previous nannies have stayed with us for a long time.
About the Child:
Our oldest son is 11. He is a very thoughtful and creative young man. He listens and follows directions very well. He enjoys playing with legos, board games, reading, drawing, and playing video games, especially Roblox. Sports-wise, he enjoys swimming, golf, and tennis. He needs to be pushed a little to get out of his comfort zone, but once there, he is ready to lead.
Our youngest is 7. He is a very outgoing and independent kid. He loves to copy his big brother. Some of his favorite activities are drawing, coloring, and playing with legos. He enjoys playing outdoors, swimming, playing basketball, and tennis. We are working on getting him to ride his bicycle.
Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for someone organized, a self-starter, safety conscious, active, engaging, responsible, communicative, and creative. This person should be able to keep up with our children. We want a nanny who will take the initiative when it comes to tending to the kids' care, engage them to do fun activities, and take them on adventures to help them learn and grow as people. We want someone who enjoys playing sports and will push the boys to play outside and try new games. We have a pool in our backyard so someone who can swim and is willing to jump in with them would be awesome. We want someone who feels confident caring for two kids' needs at the same time. A responsible person with reliable transportation and a clean driving record is a must. We prefer a nanny who has her COVID-19 vaccines as well as the flu shot. Non-smoker
