Job # 67824: A Travel Loving Family From Dallas Needs A Bilingual Nanny! (Lovers Ln & Preston Rd)

Message from Mom: We are a laidback, easy-going, close-knit family that loves to be active and travel.

About the Children:
Eldest is a 3.5-year-old male. He is very smart, outgoing, and sweet-natured, and social. He is decisive and determined. Many people are surprised when he tells them his age because he is very tall and speaks well. He loves playing outside, swimming, games, puzzle, books. He is a very picky eater. He naps in the afternoon.

Youngest is 1.5-year-old male. He is smart, snuggly, and social. He is starting to say a number of words, and is able to communicate his wants and need well for his age. He loves animals, music, dancing, playing outside, reading, and giving hugs and kisses. Sometimes he can be headstrong and a little mischievous. He is not the best napper. He will take a short (average 45 min) nap in the morning and not sleep until 7:30 pm. He will eat almost anything.

Their Ideal Nanny:
- Our ideal nanny is fun, responsible, active, creative, and energetic with a passion for kids.
- She must have studied early childhood education so she can do educational activities with the kids.
- She must be bilingual (Any other language besides English will do.)
- She must be adventurous and love to travel. She would become part of our family!

-We want someone that is going to love this job. I don't just need a babysitter, I want someone that actively makes each day fun and educational for the kids. We are willing to pay someone a competitive full time salary in order for them to have the flexibility to go on vacation with us frequently.  So candidates must understand that being available to travel or keep the boys while we travel, is an important part of the job.

Additional Job Details:
- The main reason for hiring a nanny is for travel. We go on vacation a total of several months out of the year.
- We would like to hire a nanny full time because we need someone that has the flexibility to go out of town for a week or more at a time.
- Sometimes we would need an extra set of helping hands on a family trip, sometimes you would need to care for our boys in our home while we go out of town.

Must have driver’s license, dependable/safe car, and passport.

COVID-19 Precautions:
- My husband and I wear masks in public, avoid touching our faces, avoid touching public surfaces, and frequently wash hands.
- We limit our time indoors in public places (we do go to restaurants occasionally) and avoid crowds where social distancing is not possible.
- The boys do not wear masks but we encourage the same precautions that we take when in public. They currently go to a summer kids program at their school that follow state guidelines.
- We expect our nanny to follow CDC guidelines and use reasonable caution.
- We are following CDC guidelines to reduce our risk of contracting and transmitting Covid-19. However, we also understand that life must go on, and, until there is a vaccine available, there is a possibility that we might contract the virus.
