Message from Family: Both parents are lawyers, Mom works downtown in the mornings and then from home in the afternoons and Dad works from home all day. We have two boys, they go to preschool during the day from 8:30am-2:30pm then we pick them up and bring them home. We are looking for someone to help us from 3pm-7pm Monday-Friday. Both parents will be working at home so we are always around (for better or worse) but we need someone who will be great at keeping our children busy, playing outside at our house or taking them to the nearby library or playground. We would also like help preparing their dinner and cleaning up after them. And if there is time, some light housekeeping (like folding the boys clothes and putting clean dishes away).

About the Children:

Our oldest son is 4 years old. He loves to build with magna tiles, he loves to read books and play outside with dinosaurs. He's very sweet but is also 4 years old and can get cranky in the afternoon.

Our younger son is 2 years old. He loves to do whatever his older brother is doing. If his brother is building with magna tiles, then he likes to knock the towers down. He also loves to ride around in his little mini coup and read books and do puzzles.

Their Ideal Nanny: We ideally would love someone who has lots of energy and loves to be outside. The after-school hours can be a little tricky, the boys come home and are tired and sometimes hungry so we need someone who is experienced and can navigate a little crankiness. We really really want someone reliable and dependable who will show up every day with a great attitude.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: Long-term, we need help for foreseeable future!

Duties:

Light housekeeping

Childs laundry

Cooking for children

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 3pm-7pm

*Occasional date nights, evenings, and overnights

*Guaranteed 20 hours a week

Compensation: $25-$30/hour DOE
