Job #70207: Active and Fun Nanny/House Manager Needed in Englewood (University and Hampden)

Message from Mom: We have put a lot of thought and consideration into welcoming a new nanny into our home to help us care for our children as well as take care of our busy household. We are an outgoing and active family with an almost 12-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and a 9-year-old boy. Our children are on the go all the time, they all have great personalities and are a ton of fun. The kids love the outdoors and the adventures that come with it such as mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping. They also enjoy playing card/dice/board games as well as doing arts and craft projects. My husband and I are a lot of fun also and like to stay active! We have been lucky to have such a wonderful large family that lives close by. We love to entertain and are very social with friends over for barbeques all the time. We are also very close with our family and our children play with their cousins all the time. We also host many family celebrations. We work many hours during the week and would like a nanny that can take charge and share in the duties to help us manage our work/life balance. We also have a housekeeper 2 times a week to care for the deep cleaning. We have a sweet, calm, and easy Goldendoodle. We both have offices at home, however, we are often traveling to see customers and at meetings outside of our home. We are both outgoing, athletic, and fun! We have an amazing backyard for the kids with a pool, Ninja obstacle course, treehouse, and zip line. We also have a large exercise room with a Peloton bike and treadmill that you can use and we live in a great community called Cherry Hills Village. We are looking for a nanny who is able to work with our fast pace, busy and fun schedule!

About the Children:
Our oldest is really smart, independent, mature, nice, and very athletic 13-year-old girl. She is great at sports. She likes to tell everyone that she is not a "girlie girl”! She tells us that she wants to be a lawyer one day and we see her well on her way as she can be stubborn. She loves taking care of her brothers and is already babysitting other kids so for her the nanny would just help keep her on track of getting her homework completed and getting to her activities. She is definitely in the teen stages now.

Our middle child is almost 12 years old. He is fun and has a ton of energy. He is a typical very sporty boy! He loves to play lacrosse and football. He is also very independent and takes care of himself. He is responsible and a nice kid. He just needs to be kept on track to get his homework done and or study.

Our youngest is 9 years old and he is really a great kid and he is full of personality! He will have you laughing all the time and is so sweet and affectionate! He loves to give hugs and he can be easily won over very fast! He is a typical 9-year-old and needs clear boundaries and rules. He has dyslexia and some sensory challenges we have him in a private school that specializes in this to help him with these issues. He can have emotional regulation challenges so we are very careful to stick to a strict bedtime routine with him as when he gets good sleep he does much better!

Their Ideal Nanny: Flexible, confident, fun personality, active, responsible, good cook, great driver, creative, great with school-age kids and teens, outgoing, assertive, very tidy, and organized. Must have experience taking care of multiple kids with different busy schedules. Helps cook dinner and our end-of-day routine.

Additional Job Details: We are a very flexible family as both of us work from home quite a bit. The key is we need extra help getting the kids organized, help with their schedules, cleaning up after them, doing laundry, cooking, and keeping the household in order! Driving is required.
