Message from Family:Both parents work from home in finance roles. Both parents love to take mini breaks during the day to play with the baby, mom enjoys breastfeeding throughout the day as well. Both parents are fully dedicated to the baby and enjoy meeting her needs when she's having a tougher day. No pets or other household employees.

Our family takes a more simplistic approach to life and caregiving. For example, we don't have a TV and don't use screens near the baby (other than to take pictures and videos of her). We use Lovevery with minimal other toys and find that the Montessori approach closely aligns with our parenting style. We co-sleep and use attachment parenting, and would like a nanny who uses the attachment approach as well.

About the Child:Our baby girl turned one early December 2023, and is happy and already very energetic and active (walking with a push walker), loves the outdoors, and is incredibly intelligent and engaged. She also has some higher needs: still requires contact while sleeping, has struggled with an immature digestive system and related tummy and gas troubles, and as a result requires more hands-on care, frequent nursing, and an on-demand approach as opposed to a strict schedule/ structure.

A caregiver who can read her queues and meet her where she is rather than rely on a structured schedule would be the best fit. When her tummy isn't bothering her, she is just delightful! But on days with tummy aches, she requires compassion, understanding, and patience.

We are a screen-free household, so the perfect candidate is highly engaging, well-educated, and overflowing with creativity, offering a variety of age-appropriate activities to support our daughter's development and have her thrive. Additional Job Details: Driving is not currently a requirement but may be needed in the future.

Expected Job Duration:minimum 6 months (with the intention to extend)

Duties: 
Light housekeeping
Child's laundry
Cooking for child

Schedule: 
Monday - Friday 11 am-3 pm (Schedule may adjust to 9 am-1 pm later into 2024)
*Occasional date nights

Compensation:$25-$30per hour
