Adaptable & Supportive Nanny Needed for Family of 4 in Boca Raton, FL (Jog Rd & Linton Blvd)

Nanny

Message from Family: Mom is a stay-at-home mom, but due to the needs of our two boys, she need additional help throughout the day. Dad works full-time, both in and out of the home. We are seeking a full-time nanny. Mom and Dad are separated, but we live nearby, so the nanny will be with the children based on which parent has custody during the week (the schedule is still being worked out). We also have a small, hypoallergenic cockapoo dog. We value treating everyone who enters our home as part of the family and with the utmost respect.

About the Children: Our oldest is an 8-year-old boy who loves BMX, bike riding, reading books, and swimming. He likes to be on the go and is an old soul! His inclination is to bond very strongly with adults rather than children. He's never been one to play with toys—he has a real, life-sized janitorial cart, takes cooking classes, and enjoys learning how tools work. He much prefers helping out with real-life tasks over playing with toys and has been this way since he was two. He has some ADHD, which contributes to his desire to always be active. Sometimes, this can frustrate him, but he works with a therapist on coping mechanisms. He dislikes iPads and isn't one to watch TV. His heart is made of gold—he's always thinking of others and often shows his affection by cooking for those he cares about or giving them his prized possessions.

Our youngest is a 6-year-old who is the complete opposite of his brother in looks and personality! He's a bit small for his age but as mighty as can be. He has an incredible imagination and can get lost in his Power Rangers, Transformers, ninjas, or imaginative play for hours on end. He's incredibly independent and smart—don't be fooled by his small stature. He's a true mama's boy who loves to cuddle and be loved. One of his superpowers is spreading joy with his love and making everyone around him happy. He's feisty but dreams of being a pop star. He takes hip-hop classes and loves to sing and dance—he wants to dance like Michael Jackson!
