Message from Mom: Dad is a consultant - who travels every week, so it is our son and I from Monday through Thursday. I just started a new job after being home with our son for two years and we are learning how to adapt to this dynamic shift. We are a happy little family of three (we do not want more children), and we truly value our family time together. We are looking for someone to be a part of our family - who will talk with and read to our son, play with him, keep him clean and healthy, and love on him. We do not and will not have any pets. We currently have a housekeeper who comes bi-weekly.

About the Child: Our son is 2 years old. He loves to talk, read, and play pretend. He is a curious child, often asking to understand the world around him and the way things work. We have raised him with a steady routine, which we think has made him confident in his world.

Their Ideal Nanny: Happy, loving, kind, healthy, clean, experienced - willing to teach us something new and open to learning from us. Someone who will be 100% attentive to our son and help mold him into a kind, caring, and sweet boy. Someone understanding of the “2-year old mentality” and willing to roll with the (not literal) punches.

Additional Job Details:    We are looking for someone with a driver’s license and their own vehicle to drive our son home from school. We will provide a car seat. We prioritize healthy eating and snacking (no juice, limited sugar, unprocessed foods). We are open to all backgrounds and view religion as a very personal matter and want to keep it that way.

In addition, it is very important to us that the nanny enjoys cooking.  Having help with dinner would allow me to come home and enjoy my son, we would love if the nanny would stay and eat dinner with us as well! We really want our nanny to be apart of the family!

Start Date: ASAP

Duties:

Light housekeeping

Childs laundry

Cooking for children

Cooking for family

Schedule:

Mon to Fri 3pm to 7pm

With Occasional evenings/overnights.

Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour
