Message from Mom: We are fun-loving & live in Old Town Fort Collins and have been for years - I am a local Realtor and work from home sometimes and my hubby, is a project manager in construction. We love the outdoors, music, dance, arts, crafts, and gardening. We are Christian based, but are completely open-hearted and looking for a responsible, accountable sweet nanny for our angels, but also one who knows how to establish boundaries and to continue to set the right pace for that. Our last nanny was with us for 8 years and needs to continue doing full-time work and we need to transition to part-time now that our son will be in Kindergarten. We also have 1 loving cat & 1 loving dog and some fish - as our family loves and respects animals.

About the Children:
Our daughter is 8 years old and has many different/varying interests. She will be in 3rd grade this year. She is pretty responsible & loves to learn, she has an amazing heart and is fairly easygoing. She does tangle with her sweet & energetic little brother. She loves the outdoors, dance, music, crafts, reading, and animals, and just finished camp this summer. She loves attention and quality time spent, she does well alone or in groups.

Our son is a 5-year-old kind-hearted energetic little guy - who will be starting Kindergarten this year. He loves Legos, Spiderman, Star Wars, soccer, dinosaurs, and crafts. We are looking at other activities for him now too. He is working on focusing on groups and learning. He is sensitive and has a great heart. He is still taking naps in the afternoon so we are transitioning out of that right now before Kindergarten starts.

Their Ideal Nanny: One that is sweet, energetic, responsible/accountable, and good at disciplining when needed. Willing and wants to jump in to play with them and engage in crafts and toys. One can be flexible when needed with chores and pickups (being a realtor my schedule is all over) I like to pick up the kids from school when I can. One that can listen & be sensitive and understanding.

Additional Job Details: We are happy to do bonuses here and there. Also for official holidays (i.e. 4th of July), we are happy to compensate as well for a paid holiday off. No dietary restrictions however, we like them to eat healthy and drink plenty of water. You will need a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle for drop-offs or pickups when needed. Driving would simply be picking up the children when needed from school which is very close to our home & maybe an activity here and there. Pet care is required, only walking the dog as needed. Don't need specific religious considerations, we are Catholic - and are very open-hearted to other religions.

Duties:
Family laundry
Light housekeeping
Childs laundry
Cooking for children
Walking dog
Watering plants

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Light housework from 1:00pm-3:30pm
Childcare from 3:30pm-5:00pm
(Opportunity for full-time hours in the summer!)

Compensation: $35-$37/hr
