Message from Family: Mom is self employed and is also currently a student. Dad is a professional athlete and is typically on the road for work. With a new baby on the way Mom is looking for an afternoon Mothers Helper to help around the house and who not only excels in caring for newborns but can also offer valuable support and advice. We have a 12 week old puppy. She is a Doberman and very well trained.

About the Children: Our 8-year-old son is an absolute sweetheart. He's incredibly well-mannered and shows a genuine enthusiasm for school. Whether he's exploring the great outdoors, immersed in his video games, caring for animals, or indulging his creative side, he's a bundle of positive energy.

We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our little girl in January 2024.

Their Ideal Mother Helper: We're in search of a mature, and professional Mother Helpers who can seamlessly blend into our family dynamics. We are also open to entry level nanny who is looking to grow their career. This role requires a deep understanding of boundaries while also becoming an integral part of our household. Given our recent move to Texas and moms journey into motherhood, we're seeking a Mothers Helper who can help establish a sense of routine as we navigate this transition. It's crucial for us to have someone who can provide valuable advice and support during this exciting but challenging time.

Flexibility and the ability to travel are essential qualities we're looking for, as we'd prefer someone without heavy external commitments.

Additionally, a solid understanding of African American culture and background is important to us.We're a family that treasures good food, so we're hoping our Mothers Helper can contribute by cooking and preparing delicious meals for the family.

Above all, we're looking for someone who embodies warmth, adaptability, and quick reactivity, as these qualities are at the heart of our ideal Mother's Helper.

Additional Job Details: We are interested in someone who can assist with errands, housekeeping and great with animals as well. The Mothers Helper will use their own car but will be reimbursed for gas. The family will cover oil changes. They will occasionally be asked to work weekends and overnights.

Duties:

Grocery shopping

Cooking for family

Family laundry

Light housekeeping

Miscellaneous errands

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

3pm-7pm (4 hours)

*Occasional date nights, evenings, and weekends

*Guaranteed 20 hours a week

Compensation: $23 per hour
