Message from Mom: We are looking for a long-term nanny to care for our 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter. Our kids are sweet and good-natured and true joys to be around. The kids will be home with the nanny when they are not in school (aside from outside activities like soccer & swim lessons). Mom works from home 3-4 days per week and Dad works from home 1-2 days per week. We are willing to step in and help where needed or stay out of the way! We have a housekeeper who comes 1x per week. Must be comfortable with dogs as we have a golden doodle who goes to daycare several days per week. Overall, we are a tight-knit family that always puts our children first. We like to have fun with our kids and explore the world. We would love to find a nanny to become a part of our family.

About the Children:
Our oldest child is 4 years old and an inquisitive, caring, and funny little boy. He loves numbers, reading books, playing with cars, and exploring the outdoors. He’s always on the move, but at the same time is able to entertain himself for good bits of time. He’s incredibly loving and always thinks of the needs of others and is a great big brother. He loves dancing and science. Starting in the Fall, he will go to school from 8-2:30 each day M-F.

Our second child is 2 years old and is a sweet yet assertive little girl. She is quickly becoming the family comedian and loves to make jokes and make the family laugh. She always has her "baby doll" by her side and loves to read books and dance. She is our girlie girl. Starting in the Fall, she will go to school from 9-2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny would be active and engaging - willing to get down and play with the children. At the same time, they will be willing to adhere to a basic schedule for the children. We’d like someone who feels confident caring for 2 children at the same time. Key qualities we are looking for are dependability, kindness, and a sense of humor! Ideally, we are looking for someone to work with us for several years and will become like an extended family member. Our children love to be hands-on, so we would love to find someone who is crafty and active.
Nanny does need to be fully vaccinated (flu, TDAP, COVID+ booster).

Additional Job Details:
Must have clean driving record and be comfortable driving children (nanny will be expected to pick up both kids at school and take kids to after-school activities as needed). Parents take a gentle/positive parenting approach and are looking for a nanny with a similar style. Limited screen time requested during the day. Daily driving is expected and we have a car for the nanny to use!

Duties: 
Childs laundry
Cooking for children
Daily Driving

Schedule:
39 hours per week guaranteed
Monday and Wednesday 8:00 am-6:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 pm-6:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
*During school holidays & summer would be looking for someone who can work on Tues & Thurs mornings as well (up to 50 hours per week, paying overtime)
*Possible weekend/evening opportunities may arise but are not an expectation

Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour DOE
