Message from Family: We have been married for almost 3 years. We went through IVF to conceive our beautiful daughter. Dad works for a construction company and is either at his office or on-site 5 days a week. Mom works in Marketing and is currently on maternity leave until April. When Mom returns to work, she will be working from home on Mondays and Fridays and going into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We have a cat and a dog. Our dog walker comes every day around 12 PM to take our dog for a midday walk. Every other Thursday, our cleaners come to the house. On those days, our dog goes to daycare because he isn’t a fan of vacuum cleaners. We recently bought a house in Dallas and will be moving from Allen to Dallas in July or August.

About the Child: Our baby is a 3-month-old girl, and she is generally a very happy baby unless she has a wet diaper. She sleeps roughly 8-10 hours at night, and we are working on getting her on a more consistent nap schedule during the day. She loves it when people read to her, getting cuddles, and bath time. As of now, we don't have any special diet or allergy considerations as our baby is still primarily eating breast milk and supplementing with formula. We will revisit any dietary/allergy needs as she begins eating solids.

Their Ideal Nanny: We would love to find an experienced nanny who is excited to be a significant part of our daughter's life! We are looking for someone who is educated and who can work with our daughter on her monthly milestones. We'd like someone who is active and willing to take her on walks around our neighborhood.

Transparency is key to building a relationship with our nanny. If something isn't working (on either end), we hope to have good communication with our nanny so that we can work through it together. Punctuality is very important as our days will revolve around when the nanny arrives to help take care of our daughter. I am a true believer that this also helps build trust over time.

Additional Job Details: We are a non-denominational household, and religion will not be something we expect or want our nanny to educate our daughter on. Nanny would be responsible for having their own car, and we can provide a car seat base for the car. A clean driving record is required.

Duties: Light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, misc errands, and cooking

Schedule:

Monday 8am - 5pm

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7am - 5pm

Friday, 8am - 4pm

* Depending on Mom's schedule, there will most likely be times where the nanny can leave early on Friday's. Summer Friday's starting 5/30 and will be done around 1/2PM on those day.

* Guaranteed 40 hours/week

Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour DOE
