Job # 93252: Creative & Engaging Nanny Needed in Phoenix (N 19th Ave & Camelback Rd)

Agency Point of Contact for Job # 93252: Gina (720) 464-0678

Message from Family: We are a family of 4 (including our doggie). Dad works as an epidemiologist. He currently works two days a week from home and three days in the office. Mom works as an in-house attorney for a health insurance company. Mom is currently working from home every day, but will likely be working from the office 1-2 days a week in the next few months. When Mom and Dad work from home we have a guest house that we use as an office. We have one dog, he is a 4.5-year-old terrier mix that weighs about 40 lbs. He is very much a part of the family.

About the Child: Our daughter is a 14-month-old girl who is always on the go. She is very curious and loves to explore new places. She is generally very social and loves playing with others around her age. She is not afraid to make her needs/wants known and we often describe her as very spirited. She has needed some help napping but we have seen dramatic improvements in the last few weeks of getting heralded to sleep.

Their Ideal Nanny: We would love a nanny that is creative to help ensure our daughter is entertained and learning throughout the day. We view ourselves as gentle parents that like to incorporate concepts from both Montessori and Reggio Emilia. We would ideally like a nanny that is comfortable incorporating these with our daughter.

Additional Job Details: We would like the nanny to take our daughter to participate in some activities where she is able to interact with other kids (library or museums or parks), but don’t anticipate much driving being needed. Our daughter is a pretty good eater though just entering a bit of a picky phase. She eats 3 meals a day and a few snacks. We can have all of her meals prepared for the day.

When working from home we have a separate guest house we can work out of so the nanny and our daughter can have the whole house without worrying about hearing us in meetings or anything like that. We’ve noticed that can make it tougher for her when she can hear one of us but not get to us.
