Job # 34422: Energetic Live-In Nanny Needed in Yorktown, TX (NE 2nd Ave & NE 103rd St)

Agency Point of Contact for Job #34422: Kate (480) 586-3012

Message from Family: We have 5 kids. 4 girls and one boy. They are all in school and involved in sports. We need help running them to their extra curricular activities, completing schoolwork and various house chores. Our three oldest children are in softball and both parents help coach teams. Both parents work full time running various businesses and occasionally need to go on work trips. We live on 80 acres of land and the nanny will have her own home on the property. We also have 3 friendly dogs that roam the property back and forth from the houses.

About the Children:

1. Our oldest is an 11 year old girl. She is intelligent and the leader of the kids.

2. Our second girl is 9 years old. She is kind and considerate but can tend to be hard on herself.

3. Our third girl is 8 years old. She is very helpful and considerate. She sometimes struggles with anxiety and communicating when she is struggling.

4. Our youngest girl is 5 years old. She's mellow, sweet and a good listener. We would love for her to be encouraged to be more active.

5.  Our little boy is 3 years old. He is full of energy and likes being kept busy.

Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for someone very active. With 5 kids running around you will always be on the go! We need someone able to hold the kids accountable for schoolwork and house chores. We want them to be able to be disciplined but loving towards the kids. Our ideal nanny is trustworthy, honest, flexible, open to feedback/ coachable. We are not looking for a third parent but someone who is great at collaborating with our family to keep our children happy and safe. Someone with RBT/BT experience would be a huge bonus for our kiddos!

The potential nanny should have the ability to do a working interview/ trial period so our ideal nanny would be someone currently living in the Victoria, Cuero, San Antonio, San Marcos and Austin areas.

Additional Job Details: The nanny will not have all 5 kids at one time. The nanny will either be driving the older kids to after school activities or staying home with the younger kids. The nanny will need to pick the kids up from the bus stop, take them home and help with homework and dinner. Helping keep up with the family laundry is also very important!

Our family has a longterm live-in nanny that is not living in the US at this time. There is a big possibility that the longterm nanny will move back to the US and will resume her duty working for our family. If/when she does move back she will resume living in the “nanny house” on property.

Living Accommodations: The nanny will have their own private, separate home on our land to live in. The house has a master bedroom suite on one side (big bedroom with closet and bathroom) living room, kitchen, and dining in the middle, and the other side has 4 more bedrooms (3 furnished bedrooms and a playroom). Right now all rooms are furnished with our furniture because up until last year that is the home our family was living in. There are two carports in the front of the house for parking, and the house is around 1,800-2,000 square feet. Please also note we still have some personal belongings in the house from our move that will be sorted by the beginning of the year but won't get in the nanny's way.

Travel: The nanny will be asked to go on all family vacations with the family. All vacations will be paid for by the family.
