Job # 71249: Energetic Nanny Needed For Twin Babies In Dallas (Preston Rd & Cambell Rd)

Agency Point of Contact for Job #71249:Gina (720) 464 -0678

Message from Family:We are excited about having 3 kids under the age of 2! Although it is, and will continue to be, a challenge, we cannot wait to see who these tiny humans become!

Dad, is a geophysicist who works from home. He is passionate about his job and sometimes needs to be reminded to take breaks and smell the roses. He is a terrific husband and dad and is incredibly supportive with our son and the babies.

Before the kids, Mom was a workaholic spa director overseeing 3 locations. Now I am a stay at home mom in need of another teammate to help me focus my energy where and when I'm needed. Between 3 kids, my husband, 2 dogs and finding time for myself, an extra hand is very welcome!

We have a housekeeper who comes every other week on Thursdays. She does the general cleaning around the house, so I don't require much in the way of housekeeping. General tidying of the kids' rooms, toy areas, and meal cleanup are all that are expected.

About the Children: Our oldest boy is 18 months.  He is a very sweet and kind boy, who is great at showing affection. He really likes books and puzzles (toys with a "purpose"), and he is incredibly interested in home improvement tools and helping his dad with house projects. He is a little sensitive about sharing mom and dad time but once he is shown that he is still loved, he is very generous and kind to his new brother and sister.

Our second boy is 3 weeks old. Like all newborns, he is interested in food and sleep. At the moment, I am 90% breastfeeding with 10% formula supplementation. We're taking the BF one day at a time and seeing how long I can keep my production up for both of them. No special needs, at the moment. Between him and his sister, he is definitely the more calm and chill twin. He is less demanding and just needs help with a few burps after eating and a diaper change every couple of hours to be content. We want to make sure he's loosely hitting the milestones he needs to and gets tummy time and age appropriate wake windows during the day!

Our little girl is over 3 weeks old. She is a little feistier than her brother, but still just focused on food and sleep. For the most part, she and her twin brother are on the same schedules. We try our best to keep them in sync during the day, so they stay that way at night (so mom can get a little bit of sleep). Like her brother, we want her to start increasing tummy time and forming a more structured schedule with regards to wake windows during the day. With the twins, we also want to start taking them outside the house a little more and exposing them to different environments. Obviously, as much bonding with oldest as we can, as well.

Their Ideal Nanny: We'd love a happy and energetic nanny for our family. Someone with several years of nanny experience. Since these are critical socialization years, someone willing to be active with the kids, and take them out of the house and interact with them and their friends. I'd prefer someone who can remain calm and collected when there are issues or crises. Also, a nanny who feels comfortable and relatively sociable around other parents and teachers. Bilingual in Spanish or ASL would be a plus but not a requirement. Since we have 2 hypoallergenic dogs, who can be a little hyper (but totally friendly), they need to be comfortable with dogs.

Additional Job Details: Occasional driving kids to activities for our oldest to school. For the most part, we will do the driving, but we want to make sure you have a clean driving record. We have a family car for you to use but you may use our car for kid-related transportation. Ideally would like someone to be open to traveling with the family.
