Job #72273: Exciting Family Assistant Role With Relocation Support To Midland, TX (W Wadley Ave & Crowley Blvd)
Agency Point of Contact for Job #72273: Gina (720) 464-0678
Message from Family: We are a close-knit, family-oriented household who recently relocated to Midland, TX to be closer to grandparents and build strong family and community connections. As a Mormon family, our faith and values are deeply woven into our daily lives. Mom is dedicated to caring for our growing family, while Dad runs his own business.
Although we don't have pets due to allergies, we do have regular help from our yardman and maid, who visit weekly. Our family loves to travel, explore new places, and host friends and extended family. We cherish these moments together and are excited to find a family assistant who will join us on this journey and seamlessly integrate into our vibrant, loving home.
We look forward to finding an enthusiastic, experienced family assistant to join our journey and help create a nurturing and supportive environment for our children. If you are excited about the possibility of relocating to Midland and contributing to our family, we would love to meet you!
About the Children: Oldest Daughter, 8 years old: She is adventurous, outgoing, and always up for a challenge. As a natural leader, she helps with the younger kids and enjoys activities like tennis, basketball, cheerleading, and hip-hop dance. She thrives academically—especially in math—and will need homework support and help with school pick-ups and after-school routines.
Second Daughter, 5 years old: She's sweet but can be a little mischievous! While a bit shy, she is self-aware and knows when she needs time alone to recharge. She enjoys creative pursuits such as ballet, crafts, and dress-up. Your role will involve managing after-school routines, supporting her interests, and encouraging her growth.
Third Daughter, 4 years old: Though shy at first, once comfortable, she jumps right into activities. She loves to help and is eager to follow in her older sister's footsteps with soccer and tennis. You'll help with Mother's Day Out pick-ups and create fun, developmentally appropriate activities.
Youngest Daughter, 2.5 years old: This little one is full of energy and personality! She loves climbing and will also attend Mother's Day Out. Your job will include drop-offs, pick-ups, and planning engaging activities to foster her motor skills.
New Baby (Expected in November): As the family prepares to welcome their fifth child, part of your role will be helping mom during the adjustment period and offering support as needed.
Their Ideal Family Assistant: We are looking for a family assistant with prior house management or family assistant experience who is flexible, organized, and ready to dive into the rhythm of our busy household. You should have a positive attitude, communicate effectively, and enjoy working with children in a warm, encouraging environment. We value someone who is self-motivated, honest, and proactive, able to take initiative without constant direction.
While this position isn't live-in, the level of commitment it takes to move to Midland and start fresh with a family is comparable to the mindset needed for a live-in role. We're seeking someone truly excited about making a big move and beginning a new chapter alongside us. Prior experience as a live-in nanny would be a bonus, as it often reflects the level of dedication we are hoping to find.
We want someone who can thrive amidst occasional chaos while maintaining a calm, composed demeanor. A love for minimizing screen time, fostering creativity, and supporting learning is essential. If you are mature, values-driven, and adaptable, we'd love to hear from you!
Additional Job Details: For this position, it's essential that the family assistant is a confident and safe driver. Driving responsibilities include school pick-ups, transporting kids to activities, and running errands around Midland. All locations are within the town and not far from home, though these responsibilities may evolve as the children grow older. The family will provide a vehicle for work hours. A clean driving record and ownership of a reliable car are required to be considered for this position.
Travel: We take 2-3 weeklong trips each year, often to places like the mountains, beaches, or New York City. We travel privately and provide comfortable, private accommodations for the family assistant during trips. Future international travel is a possibility, so an up-to-date passport would be a plus.
Living Accommodations & Relocation Assistance: The family is offering comprehensive relocation support to help the right candidate transition smoothly to Midland. While this is not a live-in position, they are looking for someone excited about embracing a new lifestyle in Midland and becoming part of their family dynamic. The ideal candidate would be open to the level of personal commitment often seen in live-in roles, as this reflects the kind of dedication that will make this role successful. The family will assist in securing an apartment and cover relocation expenses to ensure a smooth transition.
