Job #58392: Household Manager Needed in Denver: (6th Ave and Colorado Blvd)


Message from Agency: This high profile family is looking for a household manager to help with general house cleaning, light meals prep, laundry, walking the dog, and errands. Someone with previous experience in a private household and child-friendly is preferred. Dad is in a band so the family travels often and you would be in charge of running the household while they are away as well as when they are in town.

Household Management Responsibilities
The following activities included, but not limited to:
● light meal preparation for baby and family
● Vendor management
● Help with house cleaning including kitchen and bathroom
● Pick-up or drop-off UPS, USPS, dry cleaning, recycling, etc.
● Grocery shopping, utilizing credit card provided from the family
● Mail sorting and sending
● Walk dogs daily and water plants
● Take care of the trash once a week
● Coordinate and supervise anyone that we hire to fix things in our house.
● Other various errands as requested
● Pickups/drop-offs to and from Denver International Airport

Housesitting/dog sitting when family is traveling
● Walking dogs daily
● Feeding dogs twice daily
● Administering any medicine to dogs as directed by family
● Caring for houseplants
● Bringing in mail and packages
● Ensuring dogs have clean accessible water at all times
● Spending night at house to ensure dog and home safety
● Note: no visitors in the home without prior approval from the family, and no
parties
● If necessary and the dog is with the husband's parents and we are out of Denver, the family assistant is
expected to help with the dog in the other location and other various errands in that location. Things will always be coordinated with the family

Communication
All urgent matters should be communicated immediately utilizing whatever method is successful including phone, text, and email. Text and phone are preferred for day-to-day communication. Whatsapp and Facetime when the family is traveling.

Vehicle Use and Driver's Insurance
The household manager is expected to use their car regularly as it pertains to the position and agrees to maintain valid insurance while employed by the family. The household manager also agrees to keep their driver's license current and in good standing for the duration of employment, and to immediately notify the family of any changes to her driving record.

Employment Term & Hours

  • 40 hours a week
  • 8 hours a day. Usually from 9AM to 5PM
  • Double shift is sometimes requested from 7.30 to 11.30am and 2.30 to 6.30 pm
  • 10 days PTO days per year and 3 sick days per year.
  • Paid $20 per hour
  • Paid holidays: Christmas, easter, thanksgiving, 4th of July, New Year's Eve
  • The family may consider a bonus at the end of the year if the candidate is the perfect fit. 


Note: The schedule may change as needed and exact times may shift. This is an ever-evolving position with a need for flexibility around alternating between household manager and family assistant capacities. The family assistant may occasionally be asked to work additional hours. The family will make every effort to provide The family assistant with two consecutive days per week off whenever possible, but cannot guarantee this schedule every week.
