Job # 66197: Expecting Family Needs Part-Time Nanny In Dallas (N Central Expy and Mockingbird Ln)

Message from Family:My wife and I both work. My job requires me to travel quite a bit. We are a pretty laid back family. My wife runs a commercial general contractor and I am a reinsurance broker. We have one cat that we adopted about a year ago. We are really hopeful to have someone come to our home to help with day-to-day life and ease some of the stress that falls on my wife when I have to travel.

About the Child:We will soon have two children.

Our son is 3.5 years old. He's shy with strangers at first but is full of energy. He loves to play outside, with dinosaurs, build with Magnatiles, and is very sweet.

We are expecting our second son. He will be born in mid-October.

Their Ideal Nanny:Our ideal nanny would be a true child enthusiast, possessing experience with infants and toddlers. They would be naturally engaging, patient, and always ready to lend a hand. Takes the initiative to help around the house with day-to-day activities and assist with keeping the household running smoothly. Someone honest, kind, and flexible. We would like our nanny to be willing to assist with whatever is needed each day.

Additional Job Details:Our nanny may have both kids at the same time while we are out, or may be taking care of the new baby while we play with our 3 year old, or take him outside to get some energy out while we hang with the baby. This will be a new experience for us, so we aren't totally sure what we need other than an extra set of hands and help :) We deeply appreciate flexibility in our nanny's schedule, particularly for potential overnight or vacation assistance if the need arises.

Expected Job Duration: 6 months with the intent to extend

Duties:

Family laundry

Light housekeeping

Miscellaneous errands

Cooking for children

Cooking for family - Simple meals

Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

*Occasional date night, overnight, or vacation help
