Agency Point of Contact for Job # 63053: Kate (602) 661-0121
Message from Family: This will be the first nanny experience for us, as I’m lucky to be a Colorado native and have an awesome mom that has helped with our son since he was born. Now that he’s getting more mobile, it’s time to give grandma a break! However, grandma still wants to have a part in his upbringing so she’ll probably be visiting or picking him up when the nanny is off. My husband and I both work from home so we are also around during the day; I am an attorney and my hours are flexible. My husband works full-time managing a company based on the east coast and travels somewhat frequently. We each have a home office, on separate floors of the house, and there are plenty of other rooms for the nanny and our son to play without feeling like we’re on each other’s toes. We don’t currently have any pets mainly because we enjoy traveling whenever we can, but we love all animals!
About the Child: Our son is an 8-month-old boy, he is always smiling and showing off his cute dimples. He has been eating solid foods (mainly oats and purées but samples foods off our plates) for the past 3 months and hasn’t found anything he dislikes yet. He is just learning to crawl and loves putting everything in his mouth so constant monitoring is necessary!
Their Ideal Nanny: An experienced nanny, who is also educated in early childhood development. Someone who is easygoing, organized, and able to be professional. We are a family who loves to laugh and have fun, so a good sense of humor is a must! *Prefer the nanny to be bilingual (preferably Spanish-speaking).
Additional Job Details: Right now we don’t anticipate any driving requirements, but we are hoping to expand our family so this might be necessary in the future. I’m also still breastfeeding and hoping to continue until our son is at least a year old so it’s easier if he’s nearby! We’re really hoping we can find a nanny that can be a part of our growing family! No special diet or allergy restrictions (at least that we know of at this point).
