Message from Family: My husband and I are originally from New York, and we moved to Prosper in 2021 for our jobs and to start a family. I work almost 100% from home, and my husband works half and half and travels often. I need to be 'on call' during market hours (8:30 am-3 pm). I have a fairly flexible schedule, which I manage myself. There are periods when I will be on long phone calls with clients. I would love to be involved as much as possible during the day. I breastfeed our little one still and would like to maintain this as much as I can with my schedule, but I also have a decent freezer stash and pump daily for bottles. We have a small dog, a mini schnauzer. She is the sweetest, friendliest dog and will want to be involved in the action. Our current housekeeping team comes once every two weeks, and we may increase the frequency as I get back to work. We have landscapers that come once a week, but other than that, it's just the 4 of us (if you count our doggie!).
About the Child: Our son is about 4 months old. We are looking for a nanny to start in mid-August officially so that he will be roughly 5 months old. He is the most smiley, giggly, and easygoing baby. He is exclusively breastfed, and we are slowly working on breast milk bottles. He's a great sleeper at night and takes all of his naps in his crib during the day, but he typically takes pretty short naps during the day (I'd like to see this improve if possible!)
Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for an experienced and educated Nanny. Someone who is bilingual would be awesome, but not required! I'd like someone who is professional (as we both work in professional fields, so we look for that in others). I also am going to be working very closely with our nanny, so I'd love to get along with them as well. I think a successful nanny to us would be someone who becomes part of our family long-term.
Additional Job Details: We are looking to have a second child, probably when our son is around 9 months old, so we will need someone with prior experience with two children and would be open to a long-term position. Ideally, even once our kids go back to school, we probably still need help! We both have demanding jobs and schedules but don't have family nearby, so it would be helpful to have a second set of hands. We'd love for our nanny to have a car so they can get our little one out and explore as much as possible when he's older.
