Message from Family: Mom and Dad have been in Austin for over 20 years and love to spend time with our children. When Dad is not traveling he spends the majority of his time in our home office or in the Austin area. Mom works from an office about 10 mins from our house. We are looking for someone to provide a safe and trusting environment with our children and be dependable to accommodate our busy work schedules at tech startups. We have 2 fish, but it's the children's responsibility to take care of them. We have weekly maintenance workers for the lawn, pool, and cleaning services that come every 2-3 weeks.

About the Children: Our first son is 7 years old. He enjoys soccer, swimming, legos, building anything with boxes, video games, reading, and puzzles. He is smart, energetic, introverted, curious, helpful, a team player, and competitive.

Our second son is 6 years old. He enjoys soccer, basketball, all sports, building, drawing, mixing/chemistry, video games, puzzles, and reading. He is inquisitive, has high EQ, is sweet and caring, competitive, a team player, and a hugger.

Their Ideal Nanny: We want a positive, energetic, and loving career nanny that can care for our children and build another trusted open line of communication. Ideally, our future nanny would be educated and organized to help organize schedules, help ensure they practice their lessons, work on school projects, and feed their curious minds.

We also believe nutrition is very important to grow the bodies and minds of healthy children. We like to live a healthy lifestyle and hope our nanny can fulfill our desire for our family (especially the children) to have healthy prepared meals at home during the week (with an occasional treat).

We treat our nannies with respect and want to ensure she feels comfortable giving us feedback and communicating the child's needs or areas we can all work on together, and also adaptable as needs change.

Additional Job Details: We require a safe vehicle to transport our two children from school/camps and other activities, booster seats will be provided. Prepared meals for the children should be healthy. Children have no dietary restrictions, mom is pescatarian and dad is vegan. Boys get picked up around 2:00 pm and before pick up the nanny will be responsible for doing household tasks.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (40 hours/week)
Flexible to stay later due to work commitments on the weekdays
Flexible to come early if a child is sick and cannot go to school or camp starts after 9 am.
Occasional request to cover date nights or evenings on the weekends to attend events (very seldom)

Compensation: $30-$35 per hour DOE
