Job # 96899: Loving Denver Family Needs An Experienced Full-Time Nanny (6th & Quebec St)

Message from Mom:
We are looking for a nanny/house helper. I am a therapist who works part-time out of our home and sometimes from my office in Central Denver. Our daughter will go to school six blocks from our house from 8 am -3 pm, Monday-Fridays, so most of the time would be spent with our young son. We are Christians and would love a nanny who is comfortable and willing to say prayers with our kiddos at mealtimes. We are fairly involved in our church, so having someone who could discuss Sunday school concepts with our toddler would be ideal!

About the Child:
Our daughter is 3 years old and a true delight. She is funny, empathetic, kind, talkative, and engaging. She loves to play outside, sing (mostly Frozen), help with house chores, and read. She adores her brother, dinosaurs, and snacks.

10-month-old wild man. He is a very happy baby who is incredibly active and adventurous. He loves eating, putting things in his mouth, and crawling into places where there is a high likelihood of getting stuck. He dislikes getting his diaper/clothes changed, being contained, and baby gates of all kinds.

Their Ideal Nanny:
-EXPERIENCED!
- Bilingual huge bonus, but not required
- Experience with toddlers and pre k
- Kind but firm— I like the idea of high expectations AND warmth
- Consistent
- Safe driver
- Calm
- Adventurous
- Creative
- Safe
- Open to feedback and course correction when needed
- Someone who takes initiative and keeps things running smoothly
- Occasional driving - Must have a clean driving record

**As silly as this sounds, we would love someone who wants to be a long-term part of our family… staying for dinner occasionally, coming over for birthdays, date night babysitting (with pay!)

Additional Job Details:
Our ideal candidate would actively seek out activities for our kiddos when possible (playdates, park trips, library visits, etc.) and participate in some housework: light cleaning, getting dinner started, grocery shopping, occasionally cleaning the children’s room/doing their laundry. We also have a chill elder dog so a candidate who is comfortable with dogs is a must.
