Message from Family: Hi! We moved into our home in Denver this year and we have previously lived in Oakland and DC. We have two very sweet and low-key dogs in our home. They’ll be thrilled to meet you and then mostly nap around the house during the day. Dad works from home as a lawyer and Mom will be taking the next year off from teaching to stay at home with the baby. We’re a pretty laid-back and kind family with a good sense of humor. We are hoping to find a nanny who will help take a little of the pressure off of being a stay-at-home mom. Now that our baby is consistently sleeping through the night and Dad will be returning to work soon, we thought it would be more helpful to have a nanny during the day.

About the Child: Our daughter was born in April 2023. She was born a month early, but has been doing great! She is a sweetheart and a quick learner. She’s not a fussy baby, and she quiets down easily. We’ve had a night nanny since we brought our daughter home who has done a fabulous job.

Their Ideal Nanny: We’re looking for someone who has plenty of experience with and loves children under one. We want someone who is good with structure for our baby but also creative and fun! Our baby seems to respond really well to a routine but is also a pretty chill baby. We’d love for the nanny to be able to take the baby outside to play a lot (we live a few blocks from Wash Park). Ideally, we would like someone who is still taking Covid precautions. We have other family members who are immune-compromised and occasionally visit. We basically want someone to help our baby girl continue to thrive as the sweet, smart, curious, and funny little baby she already is!

Additional Job Details: This position will consist of childcare as well as help around the home like laundry and dishes. We are still taking COVID precautions, so we will need you to mask inside our home when you are with the baby, at least until she’s fully vaccinated. 

Start Date: ASAP

Duties:
Light housekeeping
Child's laundry
Cooking for child
Meal prep & help cook for the family

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour days. Family is flexible on times (10 am-6 pm, 7 am-3 pm, etc.)
**Specify your desired 8-hour shift when you submit your application. 

Compensation: $30 to $35/hour DOE
