Job # 14664: Experienced Household Manager Needed in Richardson, TX (W Campbell Rd. and US-75 )

Message from Family: We are a busy multigenerational household of 6 (7 if you include our white labrador)! I am a dentist with my own dental practice. My husband is the owner/CEO of an animation studio. My mother-in-law lives with us, as well as our older uncle with dementia. Besides our two primary businesses, we also manage our uncle's finances and real estate properties.

About the Children: We have two children. 
Our oldest daughter is 14 years old and enjoys cheerleading and art.

Our youngest daughter is 10 years old, and she enjoys softball and has just started to take an interest in cheer.

Their Ideal Household Manager: We would love to find a safe driver with reliable transportation and a non-smoker with previous experience as a household manager. Someone who is health-conscious would get along great with our family! We are looking for a mature candidate who can get to know our likes and preferences and then see things that need to be done without always needing daily instruction. While it is important to have someone who can take charge and get things done, it will need to be a balance between getting things done, making sure you work within any rules we may have, and checking in with us on things we need to approve. Regular communication with us will be SO important!

Additional Job Details: My most important tasks are laundry, dishes, and driving the kids around after school. However, we hope to find someone who is amazing but also a self-starter who finds things that need to be done around our home and can take on the house manager role.

Second priority duties would include: making sure the house is generally clean and tidy, organizing projects, keeping groceries and household items stocked, starting dinner, checking in on the dog and two elderly family members when we're not there, assessing the need for and arrange home maintenance/deep cleaning types of things.

Duties that would be AWESOME: help plan and prepare for travel, plan birthday parties, buy gifts, send cards, help sort mail, scan files, and help us manage 2 real estate properties.

We hope our future household manager will be okay with checking in, saying hello, and making sure my mother-in-law and uncle are doing okay and then making sure any needs are communicated to us. Our current employee will occasionally run to the store for my mother-in-law if she's not feeling well. When we're on vacation, we like for someone to make sure that Uncle has something to eat. He has dementia, so he often forgets if he's eaten or not. Otherwise, they are pretty self-sufficient.

*Start time is flexible
*Guaranteed 35-40 hours a week

Compensation: $28 to $32 DOE
