Job #19124: Experienced Live-In Nanny Needed For A Cheerful Toddler In Sunnyvale (N Belt Line Rd & E Tripp Rd)

Message from Mom: I am a single parent with a busy working schedule and frequent business travel. When I'm not traveling for work, I work from home. My mother also lives in the house and works from her office during the day. We have a small 6lb dog and a big, snuggly dog who loves belly rubs and pets.

About the Child: My son just turned 1 and he is loving his newfound freedom of attempting to walk. He does everything fast so he takes steps quickly and falls, drinks too much at a time, and eats like there is no tomorrow! But he is extremely happy, smiles all the time and once he warms up to you (not a fan of strangers), he will warm your heart. My son follows a pescatarian diet (no meat, pork, or poultry, only fish) and he is lactose-intolerant.

Their Ideal Nanny: Ideally, I am looking for a live-in nanny. I am open to a live-out nanny, but they would need to live very close to my home and would be able to be a “live-in” when I travel for work. I would prefer someone who has adult children of their own and has a good understanding of what it takes to run a household and raise children. It's highly preferred that our nanny would be fluent in Spanish and could teach my son Spanish, but this is not a requirement to be considered for this position. The nanny must be active enough to keep up with my busy little boy, love to play and keep him engaged, and ideally, would be experienced in the latest methods of child care. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are a requirement.

Live-in Accommodations: The nanny would have their own bedroom that has an ensuite bathroom.

Travel: The nanny needs to have a valid passport, as the role requires domestic and international travel. The nanny would occasionally travel with Mom on work trips to care for the baby. Additionally, the nanny would accompany the family on vacations, which are mostly in the Caribbean.
