Message from Family: We are a culture loving family living in Miami Shores. I (mom) work in design and real estate and my husband is a consultant for Life sciences and IT companies. I have the flexibility to either work from home or go to the office. My husband goes to his office daily. Fortunately for us we have mostly everything we need in our neighborhood. School, kids activities, parks, places to eat. We do have one friendly dog. Diversity, sense of belonging, conscious parenting are values that we embody individually and when raising our children. We have a housekeeper who tends to our home three days a week. We love design, travel, enjoying new experiences and making memories together as a family.

About the Children: 
Our oldest is a 5 year old charming and inquisitive child. He enjoys trains, building Legos, cooking together, riding bike, swimming and gymnastics. He is incredibly bright and eager to learn.

Our 2.5 year old is a rambunctious and energetic soul. He has quite the sense of humor even at just two years old. He also enjoys building train sets with his older brother, cooking together, riding his balance bike, and going to gymnastics.

Our newest addition is expected to arrive the 2nd quarter of 2024.


Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny would be kind and gentle with the children but also able to hold boundaries. We are looking for someone who is active enough to play with and keep up with the older boys (2.5 and 5 years old). Creative in that they can prepare arts and crafts and other learning activities with the children. We would love someone with a background in Montessori education. Also someone who is open to alternative methods of "discipline," and would read books or listen to audible content on the parenting approaches we take so that everyone is on the same page. Someone who prioritizes good health for themselves and for the kids. This includes preparing nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for the kids. Newborn experience is desired.

Additional Job Details: We are looking for a nanny to get to know our family and prioritize help with the baby when the baby arrives at the end of April. We would like someone with newborn experience. For the first weeks and months with will get to know the baby together. Once the baby is older and with a more established routine (including sleeping through the night), ideally our nanny would be able to care for all three children from time to time. We would also like someone with experience with children 2-5 years old and older.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: 1 year or longer

Travel: We plan to take up to two domestic trips per year with our nanny. Trips durations would be anywhere from three to seven days.

Duties:
Light housekeeping
Childs laundry
Cooking for children
Pick up & drop off
*Priority is newborn care/support

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 11am-7pm
Every other Saturday OR Sunday 11am-7pm
*40 hours/week guaranteed
*Nanny is to be flexible with the schedule fluctuating
*Occasional evenings, vacations, and overnights as needed

Compensation: $30-$35 per hour DOE
