Message from Family: Dad is partner at a consulting firm and usually travels several times a month. Dad works from home but doesn't mind if the kids are noisy. He's home most days and stays in his office for the most part with an occasional hello. Mom works as a physician assistant in an oncology department. She works four days a week, typically 10 hour days, so if Dad is traveling there would be potential for overtime if interested. We have one dog.

About the Children: Our son is an almost 4 year old boy. He can be stubborn and a bit of a handful sometimes but our prior nanny was able to work with him through most issues with some patience, and calm attitude. Has tree nut allergy, strabismus, and wears glasses.

Our daughter is a 2 year old girl. She is usually easygoing but has started to occasionally thow a temper tantrum. She loves to do everything by herself, favorite phrase is “me do it” with putting on clothes etc.

Their Ideal Nanny: The ideal nanny we're looking to hire to care for our two toddlers should be a nurturing and patient individual. Our prior nanny worked wonderfully with the kids, maintaining a calm demeanor that kept them content and relaxed. She regularly took them to the park, library, and other engaging activities, all of which the children adored. Given our son's recent struggles with various life changes and medical issues, we're seeking someone experienced in managing challenging toddlers. We hope to find a laidback, go-with-the-flow nanny who can provide structure while maintaining an easygoing attitude. Above all, we require someone with exceptional patience in dealing with toddler behavior.

Additional Job Details: Because Dad has been traveling a lot for work lately, mom getting home at 5pm can be hard at times so the nanny will need to be a little flexible with the end time. We have a 14lb Poodle mix who is hypoallergenic. There is no pet care involved however our 2 year old and dog need to be separated at all times bc the 2 year old is still learning to be gentle with the dog.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: Longterm

Duties: Children's laundry and Cooking for children.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.

7:00AM- 5:00PM (40 hours/week)

*Nanny will ocassionally need to be flexible with the end time.

Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour
