Job # 55133: Family in Miami Seeking an Experienced Full-Time Nanny (Bird Ave & McDonald St)

Agency Point of Contact for Job # 55133: Gina (720) 464-0678

Message from Family: We are a family that lives in Coconut Grove, Miami. Both parents work full-time and both travel for work occasionally. Mom works from home and Dad mostly works at an office but will work at home occasionally. We do not have pets. We have a housekeeper who comes once a week.

About the Children: Our oldest is 2 years old. She loves running around, scootering, swimming, and going to school. She is very verbal and talks a lot, both in English and Spanish. She is a healthy eater and eats most foods. She's also just a lot of fun. She will be in school from 9:00 am-3:00pm.

Our newest addition to the family was born 3 weeks ago. He is formula-fed and is sleeping well for his age. He's a very calm newborn. The future nanny will be primarily responsible for him.

Their Ideal Nanny: We would prefer that our nanny is fluent in Spanish. Our toddler speaks Spanish and we would like to continue her Spanish education with our next nanny. Our ideal nanny LOVES young children and has infant/toddler experience. We are looking for someone active that can keep up with our toddler. Ideally, our future nanny is creative at coming up with activities, enjoys cooking healthy meals for the kids, and has great cleaning abilities as cleanliness for the kids is key. Someone who is patient and can appropriately discipline children (teach respect, independence, manners, and good behavior without yelling or spoiling). Being able to manage schedules, multitask, flexibility, and being a great communicator - (updates us on the kids, asks questions, makes suggestions) are incredibly important to our family. Ideally, our future nanny also has a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.

Job Requirements:
- Previous infant and toddler experience.
- Comfortable and confident watching two children at once.
- Comfortable and confident driving children in the family’s car.
- Agrees to not use phone or screen time with kids.
- Must be fluent in English. (Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred)
- Ability to travel domestically. (Ability to travel internationally strongly preferred)
- Up to date on all immunizations. (Covid, Tdap, Flu)
- Non-smoker.
- Must be able to swim and practice water safety. (Swimming with the kids is not required, but must be able to swim in case kids accidentally fall in the pool)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
