Job # 87664: Flexible & Experienced Nanny Needed In Parker (Tomahawk Rd & E Parker Rd)

Message from Mom: I work as a Patient Care Tech/Telemetry Tech. I only work PRN meaning a minimum of two shifts a month. My husband works from home but will randomly have to go into work on short notice. On Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoons he does have to go in on those days. We do have one Bengal cat that is "hypoallergenic" (my husband is allergic to cats and has had no issues with her). She sassy but very friendly with the oldest two. She likes to play with them and is extremely patient with them.

About the Children:
Our eldest, is our busy bee with the biggest heart! He is 6 years old, and is always trying to create something by turning a single-use toy/item into a million things. He enjoys fast cars, dinosaurs, crafts, and Minecraft! He has bilateral hearing loss and uses two hearing aids from time to time. We commute 36 miles to bring him to a school for the deaf. His means of communication are primarily oral but when communicating with him he enjoys both spoken English and ASL (American Sign Language). He does struggle with his listening skills.

Our middle child is 1.5 years old and loves his older brother. He tries to copy what he doing so he is a fast learner. He also enjoys just about anything that is food. He is almost always eating and on the go! He is very easygoing and just recently started having toddler tantrums. He has unilateral hearing loss with no aids. He also is currently being monitored for autism (my husband was just recently diagnosed with high-functioning autism). He started talking and signing at an age-appropriate time but shortly after regressed. He goes to his big brother's school on Tuesdays and Thursdays for their ECE program and since then he has flourished. He is definitely interested in communicating and listening to individuals via sign language. We are currently in the prosses of setting him up with at-home services (speech therapy and an ASL instructor).

Our youngest child was born last October and is already developing his own personality. He is amazing with eye contact and tracing objects from afar. He's been rolling around for a little over a month now and trying to figure out how to crawl... its more of a wiggle. He's a good eater and has the rolls to prove it. I breastfeed him and pump and freeze it when I am away. So far from what Dad has told me, he eats with no issues from a bottle. When he was younger he did have an acid reflux issue that has slowly gotten better but on some days he spits up quite a bit. Since he is gaining so much his pediatrician is not concerned about it. He is hearing but we will continue to monitor his hearing due to his family history.

Their Ideal Nanny: Comfortable with multiple children and infants. If they knew ASL that would be a plus but at least being open to using it would be great too. Keeping the kids entertained by taking them outside or playing with them inside. Someone that would be able to help clean things up during their shift as long as they were able to; dishes, cleaning pump equipment, vacuuming, laundry, cleaning up toys, etc. Would be okay with putting away groceries and assisting in meal prep or preparing meals.

Additional Job Details: Tuesdays & Thursdays I take our oldest and middle child to school and get back with our middle child around 12:30 pm. They would be in charge of watching our youngest while I was away. Once I'm back it's helping me with our youngest so I can run errands, clean the house, or just relax for a little bit and also assist in making/preparing for dinner time.
On the 4 hours during the week, it is just a time that would give me another chance to make appointments, clean the house and run errands. So I might be home during those times and sometimes I will not be.
On every other Sunday is when I work at the hospital. So this would be watching all three boys and helping make dinner for all of them before you go.
