Message from Mom: My partner and I welcomed our first baby, a little girl last May. I will have about 10 weeks off work and then plan to return to work (working from home at times and going in to work at times) on August 1, 2022. We are both physicians, but I don't see patients every day (as I also do a lot of work in the medical education arena). My partner mostly does research and thus is also able to work from home some, as well. We are looking for a kind, compassionate nanny to care for our little one at our home on the days that we work (both in the office and at home). We will need someone consistently starting in August. In late July, we would like someone to babysit and to spend some time getting to know us, our daughter, our sweet miniature labradoodle, and my partner’s 2 teenagers (ages 13 and 15) who spend every other week with us (though are usually busy doing their own things and will not need any nanny/child care). We are happy/open to discussing what works best for everyone’s schedule, as we do not have specific guaranteed hours in mind generally speaking. Starting in August, we would need support full time at least 4 weekdays (Monday – Thursday) per week plus whatever works for both parties for extra babysitting/extra days etc. We are looking for someone that can commit to working with us until our daughter is at least one year old but possibly for longer depending on our needs plus the nanny’s needs.
About the Child: Newborn girl who likes to be held a lot of the time thus far!
Their Ideal Nanny: Someone with newborn and infant experience, help our little girl reach developmental milestones. We are looking for a kind, compassionate, professional, experienced, and responsible individual who will care for our daughter. We would like someone with flexibility if possible. Someone who is able to stay calm in stressful situations, positive, and has a good sense of humor. Someone who is comfortable with open communication, asks for help when needed, go with the flow, adapts well to change, and loves caring for children.
Additional Job Details: The position would also require the nanny to let the dog out in the backyard a couple of times a day. Miniature labradoodle - calm, sweet and loves everyone. (hypoallergenic - does not shed)
