Agency Point of Contact for Job # 40122: Gina (720) 464 0678

Message from Family: We find ourselves at a pivotal moment as we embark on a significant journey from the vibrant streets of NYC to the sunny shores of Miami. Urgency propels us forward as we relocate to be closer to Mom's father, who has recently been diagnosed with ALS. In the face of challenges, we are seeking a compassionate individual to not only join our family but also provide the support and care that will help us navigate this transition. Mom and Dad both have full-time jobs that keep them busy. We are in search of someone who embodies responsibility, solidity, and the assurance that they will be there for us during this period of change. Our children are straightforward and easy to connect with, making it effortless for someone to quickly become a part of their lives. Your role will involve not just assisting with day-to-day activities but also fostering a sense of comfort and stability for our family during this challenging time.

About the Children: Our oldest is 3.5 years old. She is an English, French and Dutch speaking child. Very happy and easygoing. Loves to play pretend doctor/school/store with her babies. Very social sweet girl, loves to be outside or at playground. She is in school full time.

Our youngest is an 8 month old baby boy. Very sweet, smiley, cuddly little baby. He is easy going and a good sleeper.

Their Ideal Nanny: We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our family as a nanny, playing a pivotal role in the well-being and development of our children. The ideal candidate is someone who not only meets the basic criteria but goes above and beyond to create a nurturing and engaging environment for our little ones. Knowledgeable and experienced in child development, the ideal nanny takes the initiative to schedule and plan age-appropriate activities, fostering a stimulating environment for our kids to thrive. Someone who is a versatile caregiver who is comfortable and adept at caring for both infants and toddlers, the ideal nanny will have a strong understanding of baby care, including knowledge of wake windows. They should also engage seamlessly in play and creative activities with our daughter.

Our family values trust above all. We are seeking someone who can handle dinner and bedtime routines independently, allowing us the freedom to work late, enjoy dinner out, or attend work trips with the confidence that our children are in capable hands. As our family adheres to a strict schedule, we are looking for a nanny who can commit to consistency, and understanding the importance of maintaining routines for our children's well-being. Possessing good instincts, cleanliness, and the ability to teach essential life skills like table manners and appropriate dressing for various activities are qualities we highly value. Ideally, we hope to find a nanny who lives close by, understanding the importance of quick response times in case of unforeseen health issues with the grandparents. Effective communication is vital in our household, and proficiency in English is a must. Additional language skills in French or Dutch would be a delightful bonus.

Additional Job Details: When our son starts daycare either in the fall or late fall of 2024, the position will shift slightly. Because our son will need less one-on-one care, the position will shift into more house management-type activities. Someone who is flexible and hoping to add more house manager tasks to their experience level and resume is perfect for our family.

Travel Details: Moms parents live in Naples, Florida and it would be great for the nanny to be able to join us occasionally for weekends there. We also sometimes take longer vacations to other destinations and it would be a bonus to be able to bring our nanny along. Destination options such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Montana, etc. A passport would be required.
