Message from Family: Our family has lived in Lakewood for 9 years. Dad and Mom have been married for almost 11 years and have two daughters that are 6 years old and 4 years old. Dad and Mom both work full-time demanding jobs but have schedule flexibility. Dad works from home 3-4 days a week and Mom works from home 1-2 days a week. When parents work from home they have separate workspaces from the areas where the girls stay with the nanny, and they do their best to stay out of the way! They are a smoke-free and pet-free home, although they may explore getting a dog or cat at some point in the future when the girls are a bit older.

About the Children: Our oldest daughter is a bright, funny, and kind 6-year-old girl in 1st grade. She is reserved at first but really comes out of her shell when engaged. She loves school, swimming, and playing video games with Daddy. She enjoys participating in her soccer team. She will start piano lessons this year and is so excited for school to begin. She is a rule follower and rarely gets into trouble.

Our youngest daughter is a sweet, outgoing, funny 4.5-year-old girl. She loves to draw, help Mommy cook, makeup songs, dance, read books and watch shows. She is a good friend and plays well with others, although she can have some typical 4-year-old feelings. She loves her big sister and the girls play very well together. She sometimes struggles with being the littlest member of the family and can't wait to grow up!

Their Ideal Nanny: First and foremost, a kind and responsible presence for our sweet girls. Someone who is a self-starter and is also very organized to help keep our schedules running smoothly. Fun, creative, and playful to keep little minds engaged and not distracted by TV and technology! High energy and extremely safety conscious are a must. Overall someone who is reliable, flexible to our families needs, and adaptable. Strong swimming skills and a clean driving record are a requirement. 

Additional Job Details: Nanny will have use of the family car (minivan) while on the job for school pickup/drop off, grocery pickup, and will have the flexibility to take the children to activities, museums, and country club. Grandparents visit often to play with the kids so the nanny will need to be comfortable working with the extended family. Healthy and balanced eating habits are very important to this family. Must be tech savvy! The nanny will need to use technology and smartphones to check the children in and out of school and may need to place occasional grocery orders online.

Duties: Grocery shopping, Family Laundry, Light housekeeping, Miscellaneous errands, Children's Laundry, Cooking for children

Schedule & Compensation: 
Monday - Friday
9:30am to 5:30pm - $25/hour (40 hours guaranteed.)
8:30am to 5:30pm - $22.50/hour (45 hours guaranteed, overtime will be compensated.)
