Full-Time Live-In Nanny Needed For Active, Loving Family In Dallas, TX (Abrams and Mockingbird)

Message from Dad: I'm a single father who recently gained full custody of my two youngest children (ages 3.5 and 5.5). I also have two older sons (ages 6.5 and 8) who live with their mother but do come over often. We are a laid-back, active family that enjoys sports, spending time outdoors, and traveling… especially with our camper to visit family. We have two friendly dogs, and while I maintain a flexible work schedule, I do occasionally travel for a few days at a time.

I'm looking for a kind, reliable, and energetic nanny who can help bring some consistency and support to our home as we settle into this new chapter. While our days may not follow a strict routine, I'm hoping to find someone who is nurturing yet firm, young at heart, and willing to be a positive presence in my kids' lives.

About the Children:

My 5.5-year-old son is happy, outgoing, and full of energy. He has no special needs and will be starting kindergarten this fall in a Dual dual-language program.

My 3.5-year-old daughter is sweet and active. She also has no special needs and will be attending Spanish Immersion School in the fall.

I also have two older sons, ages 6.5 and 8, who primarily live with their mother but frequently stay with me.

All children are very active, love sports, and thrive with loving structure and hands-on engagement.

Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for a nanny who is flexible, warm, and emotionally mature…someone who can gracefully support a household in transition. The ideal candidate is comfortable working without a rigid schedule, can adapt to evolving routines with ease, and is confident in helping establish structure where needed. A strong yet loving presence, this nanny knows how to set boundaries while remaining nurturing and playful. My children are active and sporty, so someone who is physically fit, energetic, and young at heart will thrive in this role. Spanish-speaking is a big plus, as the children are enrolled in bilingual programs. Most importantly, we're looking for a steady, supportive influence who will genuinely enjoy being part of our dynamic, adventure-loving home.

Live-in accommodations: The nanny will have their own private guest house on the property, including: One bedroom, a Full bathroom, a Kitchen, and a Private entrance.  When dad is away for work, the nanny will also have access to a private room inside the main home.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: Long-term

Duties:

Grocery shopping

Family laundry

Light housekeeping

Miscellaneous errands

Cooking for children

Schedule: Approximately 60 hours per week, including early mornings, after-school care, occasional evenings, and some weekend or travel support.

Please note: The family is currently in a transition period, and the exact schedule may vary week to week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with this evolving structure and able to adapt as needed.

Travel: Occasional domestic travel (camper trips, visits to family, etc.)

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $20–$25/hour DOE

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,500

Total Annual Compensation: $62,400–$78,000+, depending on experience
