Job #40009: Full-Time Nanny Needed in Chandler: (Riggs & Arizona Ave)

Health Insurance Offered!

Message from Mom: My husband and I are currently both working from home (prior to COVID we were in the office.). My husband is a successful realtor and I'm the Head of an e-commerce home improvement brand. We have one dog, a mini Australian Shepherd that we got in May. Our last nanny has been with us for the past two years and has truly become a member of our family. Her main focus is working with the kids, with house chores and cooking during open times.

Message From Their Current Nanny: If you are provided the opportunity to work with this family, you will find that there are a lot more unexpected benefits than they could possibly list. For one, Dad and Mom are two of the most compassionate and understanding individuals. These positive traits not only are witnessed through the love and support they demonstrate in the raising of their children, they are also extended to you on a professional level. From the beginning both Dad and Mom are welcoming and establish a healthy-open line of communication with their nanny, which left me feeling confident to voice concerns; even though they rarely arose. Along with having supportive management, working with the Family includes the added bonus of interacting with children who are polite, well-behaved and kind. Children who have made me laugh until my sides hurt and were raised to show me-or rather, people in general--the highest respect. Dad and Mom always strive to ensure that their nanny has a fair workload and compensation. They highly value the role their nanny has in the growth of their children while actively taking lead in their development. I not only found a career I loved during my employment with Dad and mom, I was invited to be a part of a family. I enthusiastically encourage you to consider pursuing employment with this Family. What I gained from my time with them goes much further than any monetary value. As their nanny, I was fulfilled. Any of my suggestions or trepidations were met with open minds, seriously considered, and often implemented. I was given the freedom and support to perform my job to the best of my ability, without feeling micromanaged. Employment with this Family will offer stability through peace of mind and a schedule that will remain consistent. In all of my occupational experience, I have never encountered employers who offer as much flexibility and who are as accommodating this family. I would-without hesitation-recommend to anyone that they pursue employment as this family's nanny.

About the Children:
Boy (8-year-old)  Future engineer. Loves school although needs help staying focused. Needs to be active as much as possible to help him stay focused. Very loving and helpful around the house.

Girl (5-years-old)- Very girly girl and absolutely adores her siblings. Loves school so far and is very smart. Can be a bit whiny at times but overall very well-behaved.

Girl (2-years-old) Not yet potty trained, but very smart and loves playing with her siblings. She has had a nanny since she was 10 weeks old and has really attached to her.

Their Ideal Nanny:     Someone who understands young school-aged children. She's active, experienced, well-educated, and creative. She enjoys taking the kids for walks and bike rides and playing outside. She's willing to bring her own ideas for creative artwork projects, games, and other activities. She truly enjoys being a household manager and helping to ensure the M-F day-to-day goes smoothly for all.

Additional Job Details: This role is a very important role in our family - we're looking for someone that truly takes the job as if the kids were their own, co-parenting with my husband and I. The number 1 priority is the health, wellbeing, and education of our children. Other chores and necessities around the house are important but not at the cost of the kids.

COVID 19 Considerations: We're currently a 3 heading closer to a 4. Our kids will be going back to school in-person and we practice mask-wearing and social distancing when in public (which we're limiting dramatically.). We do have a small group of friends and my in-laws that we have been visiting with both indoors and outdoors. We have a rental cabin we visit as well which is cleaned deeply in between guests but there isn't more than a few hours gap in between guests. We expect similar precautions from our nanny. No large social gatherings. Taking mask-wearing and handwashing seriously. But I wouldn't want someone who is strict and then potentially make them uncomfortable or put them in harm's way.
