Job # 16964: Full-Time Nanny Needed In Fort Collins (E Prospect Rd & S Co Rd 5)

Message from Mom: My husband and I are both programmers who WFH full-time. We also have a 13yr old Australian Shepherd who will take all the attention you're willing to give him. On the weekends, we like to hang out with friends (who also adore our son) and go on walks in the nearby parks.

About the Child: Our son is almost one-years-old and is so much fun. He's a very active baby who loves to move and explore. He's been crawling for a while and might start walking soon! He also loves reading books and will even try to read to himself sometimes. He is bottle-fed formula on-demand (every 2.5ish hours). We are attempting solids for 2-3 snacks per day, and he takes three 45min naps per day (not sleep trained).

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is someone who enjoys exploring the world alongside our son and is excited to see him at the start of their day. We would like a nanny who genuinely enjoys interacting with children, can problem solve and multitask, and is a self-starter. Additionally, someone who's a great storyteller and really wants to foster early communication skills. Looking forward, we're looking for someone who will respect that our son is a person with his own opinions, feelings, and desires and who will respond with empathy when something doesn't go his way.

Additional Job Details: There is a totally separate space in the house where you and the baby can be that is out of both sight and sound range. We respect that having parents WFH makes it harder for you to do your job, and we'll do our best to stay out of your way. There aren't any parks within walking distance, but our neighborhood is quiet and decent for walking around. There are parks, including one with a splash pad, within a 10min drive.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm
(Flexible start time with 8hrs per day. Family prefers 8am but are open to any time between 7:30 am and 9:30 am)

Compensation: $25 per hour
