Job # 91563: Full-Time Nanny Needed in Frisco, Texas (423 and Stonebrook Pkwy)

Message from Family: Hello, I (Dad) am in the process of getting a divorce and am in need of assistance to help with the kids since they have special needs and cannot be left unattended. I love my kids and am looking forward to finding someone who can assist with watching the kids, doing their laundry, rinsing dishes and putting them in the dishwasher, dinner meal prep, and working with the kids on continuing their education somewhat during the summer. I work from home almost all the time in my office. My daughter has 4 weeks of ESY this summer and ABA therapy 2x.a week as well. We also have an 8 lb Japanese chin which may still be here when you start. A housekeeper comes once a week.

About the Child:
My son is 7 years old and loves to build with magnet blocks, sing, play iPad games, pizza, and fairness. He has a big heart and loves to help with things as long as they can be broken down into enough steps. He is competitive but has anxiety so will get upset when he “fails” at a task (in his mind not winning is failing). He has ADHD and we are working with him to help him reign in his big emotions. He loves giving hugs, being near people, and showing off his accomplishments. We also try to encourage him to try new things at least once so that he can broaden his horizons. He sometimes struggles with eating food so what he eats isn’t as important as what he doesn't eat.

My daughter is also 7 years old, and loves animals, reading, art, telling stories, hugs, and most foods, especially chicken nuggets and pizza. She is as happy playing by herself as with others. She has mild autism so she struggles with boundaries of all kinds including personal space, locations, and limits on foods. She is a bright girl with a limited attention span which causes people to underestimate her. She has some sensory needs that we are working on meeting to allow her to get that stimulation in an appropriate manner. She is in a SAIL program in school which aims to focus on her behavior to allow her to integrate fully into the gen ed classes as soon as she is able.

Their Ideal Nanny: We would love someone who would enjoy playing with the kids, allowing them to ride their bikes and scooters outside, taking them to parks, playing with creative toys, doing arts and crafts with them, and encouraging reading and writing.

I am looking for a partner who can help me parent the kids the way I wish I had the time to parent them myself.
