Job # 51189: Fun & Caring Full-Time Nanny Needed in Denver (Colorado Blvd & E 8th Ave)
Agency Point of Contact for Job # 51189: Gina (720) 464-0678
Message from Family: We live in a 3-story duplex in Congress Park neighborhood of Denver. We have two boys and two rescue dogs who are all very sweet. We are looking for someone who loves kids and dogs! Mom works remotely for a healthcare company based in Boston and Dad is in HR Technology. We both work from home. We are close with our families, but, unfortunately, they live out of state and come to visit a few times per year. A housekeeper comes every three weeks.
About the Children: Our oldest is a two-year-old boy. He is a sweet, happy, curious, observant, and independent child who loves to read, do puzzles, play outside on his bike, go to parks and playgrounds, and explore places like the zoo, museums and botanic gardens. He is not shy and warms up to people easily. He likes to listen to all kinds of music, especially Sesame Street, Cocomelon and animal sounds. He is very aware of sounds, especially sirens, and loves to watch the garage/recycling trucks come by. He is a good eater and sleeper. He is adapting well to his new role of big brother and gives “bay-bee” brother occasional hugs and love pats.
Our youngest is a 2-month-old boy (born August 2023). He responds to our voices, makes eye contact, and just started cooing and smiling. We are working on establishing an eat, play, sleep (and repeat) routine and he is adapting well. He likes to be cuddled and any kind of movement. He enjoys being outside and going for stroller walks. He does well in a baby wrap carrier, too. He is mainly breastfed and takes a bottle once a day.
Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for someone with a passion for young children and helping them develop age-appropriate motor, language/communication, social/emotional and cognitive skills. Someone with experience caring for children, preferably infants and toddlers. A good communicator, responsible, dependable, loving, caring, patient and positive attitude. Ideally, someone who is creative and finds activities outside the home to do with the boys. We would like someone with strong time management skills who can manage the boy's routines when it comes to eat, play and sleep.
Additional Job Details: We request that our future nanny be current on COVID-19, flu, and TDAP vaccinations. We ask that you stay home if you are sick and notify us if you've been exposed to someone who is sick with COVID-19, flu, etc. We will offer paid time off, in addition to holidays, that can be used for vacation or sick time. For transportation, we have a car that can be used for taking the boys to and from activities or you can use your own car if that's your preference. If you use your own car, we will provide the car seats.
Is the nanny required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine? Yes, as well as flu and TDAP vaccine.
