Message from Mom: My husband and I have been together for 8 years. He is an attorney, and I am a small business owner. We both work primarily from home due to COVID but I do need to go into the office every Monday and Wednesday morning, and my husband sometimes has meetings he has to attend in person. When we are working from home, we are very much working so it is hard for us to fully attend to work and the baby. We are both fully vaccinated with boosters for COVID and we do require a fully vaccinated nanny. We have a wonderful dog, who is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She loves to go on walks as well. I will need help with laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.

About the Child: Our son was born in September 2021 and is almost one year old. He is a very good baby. He is easily soothed. He loves looking at lights, singing, and going on walks. He is a good sleeper and eater. He is a textbook baby. He is developing right on schedule.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny would be someone who is knowledgeable in children's development. Someone active, bright, and outgoing. Adaptable and engaging and is comfortable getting down on the floor and playing. Someone familiar with developmental stages of early childhood. Early childhood education experience would be a big plus. We would love to find a nanny that speaks Mandarin but it is not a requirement.

Additional Job Details: The primary responsibility will be to care for our son. Most likely one of us, my husband or I, or both will be home during the hours but there could be some times when we are not. As our son grows and his needs change, the times and hours could change. All care will be in/ around our home.

Start Date: ASAP

Expected Job Duration: One Year

Is the nanny required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine?  Yes

Duties:
Light housekeeping
Child's laundry

Schedule:
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
27 hrs/wk guaranteed

Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour DOE
