Full-Time Nanny Needed for Culture Loving Family in Miami Shores, FL (NE 2nd Ave & NE 103rd St)

This job has been closed.

Nanny

Message from Family: We are a culture-loving family based in Miami Shores, deeply committed to diversity, a sense of belonging, and conscious parenting—values we embrace both individually and in raising our children. We have a passion for design, travel, and discovering new experiences, all while creating lasting memories together as a family. Mom works in design and real estate, with the flexibility to work from home or the office, while Dad is a consultant for life sciences and IT companies and goes to the office daily. We're fortunate to have most of what we need right in our neighborhood, including schools, kids' activities, parks, and great places to eat. Our home is completed by our friendly dog and a housekeeper who helps maintain our household three days a week.

About the Children: Our oldest is a 5 year old charming and inquisitive child. He enjoys trains, building Legos, cooking together, riding bike, swimming and gymnastics. He is incredibly bright and eager to learn.

Our second child is almost three and he is a rambunctious and energetic soul. He has quite the sense of humor, he also enjoys building train sets with his older brother, cooking together, riding his balance bike, and going to gymnastics.

Our youngest is a five month old baby. He is already incredibly alert and is very much loved by his two older brothers.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is kind and gentle with the children while being able to maintain boundaries. We need someone active and energetic enough to keep up with our three boys, engaging them in play and physical activities. Creativity is key—we'd love someone who can prepare arts and crafts and other educational activities. A background in Montessori education would be a big plus. We also value a nanny who is open to alternative discipline methods and is willing to read or listen to materials on our parenting approaches to ensure we're all aligned.

Health is a priority, both for themselves and for the kids, including preparing nutritious, balanced meals and snacks. Experience with infant care is essential. Ideally, we're looking for someone who strikes a balance between confidence in their experience and a willingness to learn and grow with our family. We want a nanny who can meet our children at their developmental levels—both emotionally and mentally—and adapt to their needs. Given that it's three active little boys, we need someone physically capable of keeping up with them. A flexible schedule, punctuality, and reliability are also required.

Additional Job Details: On the weekends we would love an extra set of hands to help with the baby so that we can spend quality time being active with our older kids. During the week the nanny's top priority will be providing care and support for the infant.

Travel: We plan to take up to two domestic trips per year with our nanny. Trips durations would be anywhere from three to seven days.
