Message from Mom: My husband and I lead a busy life, but are also very hands-on with our two girls. Dad travels for work most weeks, while I just started my own interior design business. I work from home most days. While we have housekeepers, I do the majority of the cooking. We are very caring, empathetic employers to our current nanny, offering PTO + bonuses, with the expectation that she is reliable, respectful, and trustworthy. We have had a beyond wonderful experience with her the past 23 months of employment, and are devastated she is leaving us to start school. While we will have set hours for our nanny, we host a lot of events and also have work/charity/social events come up, so we need someone who is flexible and willing to work around our schedule. We also travel a lot, mostly bringing our two girls with us, and need a nanny who is willing to travel with us. Most importantly, our family believes in the Lord, plus are members of a Methodist Church, and feel very strongly about having someone who shares our beliefs and is willing to read bible stories, sing bible songs, and talk about the Lord with our girls. Lastly, we have a golden retriever, so we need someone who feels comfortable around her.

About the Children:
Our oldest daughter is almost 3 years old. She loves reading, dancing, gymnastics, cheer, crafts, baking, going to the park/zoo/aquarium, and going to feed the ducks. We live directly next to a wonderful park and go there almost every day to play. She is smart, sassy, silly, affectionate, empathetic, tenacious, and has excellent verbal skills. She goes to preschool on Tuesday/Thursday from 9am-2pm. She is potty trained, but still has occasional accidents + some stool withholding. Very little screen time.

Our youngest daughter is 1 year old. She loves playing with her big sister, reading, blocks, ball pit, and going to the park/zoo/aquarium. She is very easy going, so sweet and playful, a wonderful sleeper, loves to eat, walking, about to transition to one nap. She is staring preschool 2 days a week this coming fall and will be starting gymnastics/cheer/dance at 18 months. No screen time until 18 months.

Their Ideal Nanny: Whomever we hire should be open to house chores—including but not limited to dishes, laundry, sweeping, taking out the trash, feeding/walking our dog, and occasional cooking for the girls. Our ideal nanny is Experienced, educated, active, caring, creative, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, organized, flexible, and uses discretion. Someone who will read bible stories, sing bible songs and talk about the Lord with the girls is extremely important to our family.

Additional Job Details:
We need someone who is comfortable teaming up with us to make our life as stress-free and engaging for our girls as possible. I allow very little screen time, so it is important that our nanny likes to come up with crafts, baking, and fun activities within the household. Our nanny will do very little driving around with the girls, but also will require reliable transportation in case the need to run errands or drive the girls to activities comes up.

Schedule:
Monday - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Tuesday - 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Wednesday - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Thursday - 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Friday - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday - 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm
(40 Hours/week)
*Occasional weekends/travel/date nights

Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour DOE
