Job # 79908: Live-In Or Live-Out Nanny Needed For One Little Boy In Dallas (Inwood Rd & Royal Ln)

Message from Mom: We are a small family who recently relocated to the Preston Hollow area from Austin. We have a 3-year-old boy who has speech apraxia (like a stutter) and we are starting him in PK-3 in the fall. We need a nanny for the afternoons Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. We also would like help during summers, sick days, and school holidays. We will guarantee 30 hours per week, even if our nanny does not end up working that many. A nanny who can travel both domestically and internationally is preferred and a bonus! We have a car for all transportation involving our son. We are open to either a live-in or live-out nanny. We are also trying to have another child, so the hours are subject to change.

About the Child: Our son is a rambunctious 3-year-old who likes to sprint away because he thinks being chased is a fun game. He’s not prone to tantrums or anything and is very sociable, but he must be watched closely, and good judgment must be used. He attends swimming, music, gymnastics, and soccer.

Their Ideal Nanny: Our ideal nanny is interactive, creative, aware, and uses good judgment. They should have experience with toddlers and preschoolers and be able to keep up with an energetic child! Our nanny should be interested and invested in helping our son reach his developmental milestones. We prefer a nanny who is hands-on and does not sit on their phone all day or rely on screen time to distract our son.

Additional Job Details:  The family is open to either a live-in or live-out nanny. A nanny who can travel both domestically and internationally is preferred and a bonus. The family has a 500sq ft apartment on their property if the nanny would like to live in - they will only need to provide their own food. Driving is anticipated in this role.
