Message from Family: Mom is an anesthesiologist and Dad is a chemical engineer. We are moving from Louisiana to Fort Worth. Mom works 6:00am to 4:00pm most days and Dad works 8:00am to 4:00pm. No pets as of yet, but we'd like to get a kitten in the future. The most important thing to us is making sure that our children are happy, healthy and learning!

About the Child: Our oldest child is a 3-year-old girl with a big, loving personality. She is incredibly intelligent, kind, and has numerous interests, especially enjoying time outdoors. She is strong-willed, and our current nanny helps harness that trait for good (I don't want to change her personality but help her blossom).

Our youngest is a 3 month old (born 2 months premature) boy who is so sweet. He is developing normally but we will likely do PT/OT with him to ensure there are no developmental delays due to prematurity.

Their Ideal Nanny: We are seeking a loving, safe, and educated Christian nanny, or someone comfortable teaching the Bible, preferably with a college degree and years of experience in child care. The ideal candidate should be active and enjoy taking walks, running around with kids, and spending time outside. We are looking for someone engaged and creative, capable of thinking of new art projects and learning activities/curricula. Patience is essential for this role.

Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable about infant routines and development. Our ideal candidate is someone who does not use tobacco of any kind, including vaping and smoking. A Spanish speaking nanny would be a plus but is not a requirement

Additional Job Details: We do not allow screen time or TV time so the nanny will need to be engaged with the children during wake hours. The ideal candidate must have a safe car to use. Someone who can engage in learning activities at home. As a Christian family, we incorporate some Christian-based learning activities, such as Bible verses for the alphabet and reading Bible stories. Therefore, we prefer either a Christian nanny or someone who is comfortable teaching the Bible.

Start Date: ASAP, Family can be flexible for the right candidate.

Duties:

Grocery shopping

Light housekeeping

Miscellaneous errands

Childs laundry

Cooking for children

Cooking for family (Not required but would be a plus!)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7/7:30 am - 4:00 pm

*Occasional date nights & family vacations
