Agency Point of Contact for Job #47644: Gina (720) 464-0678
Message from Family: Mom is an attorney who has spent the last few years working part-time from home while being the primary caregiver. Dad works full-time outside the home. Mom needs bilateral hip surgery that will require an inpatient hospital stay followed by months without being able to care for or lift the children. Our 3-year-old boy and almost-2-year-old girl need a friendly companion nanny who likes to play while maintaining a basic schedule and structure to the day. Our family believes that gentle boundaries support happy and healthy kids as they grow and learn. Our son is starting a morning preschool program this fall and our daughter will be in the care of our nanny throughout the day. Our kids enjoy storybooks, songs, playing in the garden, and craft projects. They like to help while preparing meals and they love going on "adventures" to the grocery store or library or park.
About the Children: Our oldest is a 3-year-old little boy who loves playing in the garden and reading books. He is excited to start morning preschool this fall but has been home with his mom and baby sister his whole life, so far. He is curious and playful!
Our youngest is an active toddler girl who turns 2 in September. She loves to read stories, build with blocks, and play outside. She is friendly and easy-going with familiar people, and she will be with our nanny all day, including the hours our son is in preschool. Natalie still naps in the afternoon and falls asleep easily on her own with her nap routine. We anticipate that our daughter will need a nanny that is emotionally supportive during the likely confusing time surrounding mom's upcoming surgery and a lengthy recovery.
Their Ideal Nanny: A friendly nanny who can help provide additional stability to the household during our upcoming challenges while mom undergoes and recovers from major surgery. Our ideal nanny will do basic household chores related to the children, such as basic meal preparation, dishes, and kid laundry. An ideal nanny for our family will provide additional emotional support and stability for our children as we navigate this upcoming challenge.
