Message from Family: Dad works from home most days while mom is in the office most days (except for Fridays). Mom also travels for work around 3 times a week. The travel is typically just 2 days/1 night. Starting in April we hope that both kids will be in school most days. We are looking for a long-term, part-time nanny to help in the afternoons and after school. Also would be great to have help on some days when kids do not have school or have half days. We have no pets and have a house cleaner.

About the Children:
Our firstborn will be 4 in July. She goes to a Montessori School and has since she was about 11 months old. She is full of energy and loves to play, color, build blocks, go to the park, etc. She loves school and will continue to go 5 days a week.

Our second child is a boy who is turning 1 this April. He is crawling and standing. Trying to walk. He is a great eater and loves playing and exploring. Most of all he loves watching and playing with his big sister. We hope to start him in school at around 1 year old.

Their Ideal Nanny: We would like our future nanny to be kind and have lots of love for children. We hope they can help the kids embrace reading, art, music, playing outside, etc. Structure and teaching the kids discipline are also important. It is important that our future nanny is open to direct communication.

Additional Job Details: We are looking for a part-time nanny starting around April/May time frame. However, we can be flexible with the start date if needed. We would love this position to be for the foreseeable future. We do not have an end time in mind as we see our family needing a Nanny for the next few years. Mom's work schedule requires her to travel a lot so there could be some times when we may need some flexibility.

We would like our nanny to start in the afternoon before kids get picked up from school to help with dishes, laundry, and dinner a night or two a week. We also would like the nanny to pick up the kids from school around 2:00-3:00pm and be open to doing activities with them like the park, library, etc. some days. On most days parents will be home by 5/5:30.

Duties: 
Grocery shopping
Miscellaneous errands
Children's laundry
Cooking for children
Cooking for family (put something in the crock pot 2/3 a week)

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 1:00pm to 6:00pm
*Occasional weekends, date nights, flexibility when mom is traveling
*Guaranteed 20 hours/ week

Compensation: $25 to $27 per hour DOE

Benefits: Bonus, Gas Mileage Reimbursement
