Job # 56707: Nanny Needed for Loving Dallas Family (Skillman & McCommas)

Agency Point of Contact for Job # 56707: Gina (720) 464-0678

Message from Mom: My husband works in a senior private equity role that requires long hours, frequent travel, and a dynamic, always-changing lifestyle. My role is to spend time with my son and stay healthy for my pregnancy. We have a happy and fun loving 22 month old son and will be having a baby at the end of August. We will find out the gender of our second baby at birth. We have a housekeeper that comes twice a week. We are looking for someone to act as the "third parent" and just join our family as an extra set of hands. If mom is with the baby, the nanny can be cleaning the toys. If mom is with baby or son then nanny could be doing errands/grocery shopping etc. Whatever needs to be done gets done. Mom is taking the baby to mommy and me classes, so there will be time during the day where we will need to be creative for other jobs for the nanny to take on while the mom/baby are out. This could include cooking or grocery shopping, or a shifting of hours to maybe evening babysitting for a date night. We have no pets. Our housekeeper does a weekly deep clean and helps with the laundry. We need light tidying of the house and kitchen during the week.

About the Child: Our son enjoys spending time outside and staying active. We like going on long walks in our neighborhood, swimming at the pool and exploring new places. One of our favorite places to be is spending time playing at the local playground or running around in our backyard. Our son loves being pushed on the swing or riding down the slide. His sense of exploration continues to grow each day and he loves to be read to and playing with developmental and educational toys. In addition to being outside, he loves reading books and spending time with family and friends. We enjoy taking him on family vacations. His screen time is very limited and typically reserved for travel times only. Our son will be attending a Mother's Day Out Program Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 - 12:00. Currently, our son takes a one to two-hour nap daily.

Their Ideal Nanny: Someone who has a sunny disposition and enjoys playing with him. Someone who can help adjust as we grow into a family of four. We will have a night nanny five nights a week to help our family. Additionally, we would ask a nanny be willing to do the following for our household:

-Flexibility in terms of work schedule; communication regarding days off etc.
-Help mom with breastfeeding by assisting with cleaning the bottles, breast pump etc.
-Prepare meals and snacks for our son including cleaning up afterwards
-Pick up toys
-Grocery shop for the family including putting groceries away
-Running errands such as picking up dry cleaning and/or prescription medication at CVS
-Knowledge/experience with potty training is a plus
-Being punctual is a must.
-Required to be up to date on Covid, Flu and TDAP vaccine.
-With our Children: Patient, Flexible, Creative, Active, aid in their continued development and safely driving to and from school
-With our Family: Reliable, Punctual, Professional, Proactive, Respectful

Additional Job Details: We are hoping for someone to be with our family for a few years. We are looking for someone to be flexible and creative with organizing hours and tasks. Mom takes the baby to classes, so we are looking for a nanny who is comfortable with alternative tasks during the hours mom and baby are away- that can include cooking, grocery shopping, etc. A clean driving record is required, driving the children will be needed often to and from the school which is 20-30 minutes away from the house. Nanny might be asked to do occasional overnight work if dad is traveling. The new baby is scheduled to arrive at the end of August and following the job will also include helping mother with laundry, changing and feeding schedules throughout the day.
